Ack, I think my X2 is DOA! 
Fully charged now (blue light went off). Tried the 5-click thing again (a few times) and nothing happens with the button. No lights, no hissing, nothing. Am I missing a step?

I had to try it a few times with mine. I was not getting the 5 clicks rapid in succession or something. Now I have done it many times and it works. The lights do not come on until you get it turned on.

These new ones are supposed to be equipped with that 5-click thing, to turn it on or off and prevent accidental activation. ..but mine won't activate at all! Is there a secret Morse Code type of thing I have to do now, to get it to turn on?
Nope. Just going by everything I've read here. Supposedly, you have to click it 5 times to turn the unit on first. Then after that, it's manual vaping as usual...

That's horrible Cindy. Get a new toy and it's broken before you get to play. The 5 clicks have to be in rapid succesion but that should be the only step necessary as far as I know. I've got one device, not SI, that has that and it often comes on on the 6th or 7th click, again rapid succesion. I'd be clickin that sucker like crazy as I typed out a ticket on the SI site.
5 quick clicks disables the button so it won't accidentally fire in your pocket or purse Star. The button won't work until you repeat to turn it back on.
That busy busy server during Imagine's birthday sale charged my card twice lol. Second time I've had to open since last July. In nothing flat they had sent me a refund confirmation and an apology in another email.

Yea it took me a few tries to get the timing right. Now that I know it - it is easy, but I hardly ever turn it off - my X2 is primarily in the house and maybe driving. I might put it in a shirt pocket, but nowhere I have to worry about the button being pushed... So mine is staying on - for now at least... It is good to have the function though - just in case...
I will tell you one thing. I got the long cable with this one and you can almost walk around the room with it. I was thinking maybe 6" longer - this thing is double...
Yeah, I got one of those too. Nice. I can plug it into my battery charging hub instead of my laptop, which has seen enough damage for awhile. Wish the new clearos would've been available when I ordered this thing though. I can already see that I'll have to step up from regular poly-fill cartos. It's a little picky with how much liquid is in there.
