5 quick clicks disables the button so it won't accidentally fire in your pocket or purse Star. The button won't work until you repeat to turn it back on.

Oh. I wonder why 5 was picked to be the magic number - seems excessive. I'd have picked 3. But thanks for answering my questions. I'll stick with autos :)

I had no idea it had that feature! I took mine with me yesterday in my pants pocket and I was always worried it would activate in my pocket. :facepalm:

There are a few brands that use three but I think the majority use five. I've got a few other brands but I don't own any manual volts. The 78 autos are still my all day every day. Nothing broke.

Good Morning Volties!! It's awfully quiet in here.

No one to play with. :cry:

I'll be back later ----->

Don't cry Rave. We still love you.

My day started out with a 40 min beginners cardio workout i put together to get me back into shape for the ski season. As much as i'd like to think im still fit, its just not the case and I am hoping to continue with it even after i get back from the snow. How is your day going

Yea it took me a few tries to get the timing right. Now that I know it - it is easy, but I hardly ever turn it off - my X2 is primarily in the house and maybe driving. I might put it in a shirt pocket, but nowhere I have to worry about the button being pushed... So mine is staying on - for now at least... It is good to have the function though - just in case...

I usually keep mine in my shirt pocket. One day I was going to lunch with my boss and felt a burning sensation and the seat belt strap caused the button to activate. Talk about heartburn....

Has the clearomizers changed?? Ive only ordered clear and yellow ones up until my last order. The wicks were always short. I just got my black colored ones in yesterday and the wicks go all the way to the bottom.. I can say I like the wicked this way better.. I dont have to keep tilting my carts almost upside down now... So is this just with this color or have they revamped all of them?

Not me - while I am driving it is in my PV holder that I made for my car and my truck - something like a cup holder, but for my PV... Most of the time when I get out of the car that is where it stays - got my trusty 78mm in my shirt pocket...

Aren't you afraid of what a hot, closed-up car might do to it? I can't imagine it'd be good. I don't leave mine in the car.

They switched to long wick about a month ago. Also, they brand new ones are supposed to resist cracking from the acidic juices like cinnamon. If yours is branded "volt", you have the newest one

All the vehicles I drive are white, windows are tinted and I have sun reflective screens up when I get out. When I come back to my cars I do not get hit with a heat blast when I open my cars (or truck) - my truck also has an air circulation vent that turns on if the inside temp gets to high - works like a charm...
