Oh what a great link! I've bookmarked that! (Poncho)

The best part is the attached hood!@!!!@!!! I don't like "caps" as they never stay down to cover my ears. That's how I lost several layers of skin - cap slid up on a cold January horseback ride to meet a friend to smoke a stinky at an abandoned farm site between our places! Kids - what we wouldn't do for a stinky!

The gray! Not my favorite but if I can figure out a "lazy" way to remake a sweatshirt painting (w/o all the work) of "Abiding Affection" - it would be the perfect color. (Wish I'd kept the one I had - it's from this statue: Awards - SC265_R )

I'd use Tack it Again to make it removeable! :D

ETA - NOW my fur-babies!

SandySu - I just about live in capes and ponchos. Still an old hippie at heart. It was the only logical thing to wear the winter that I was carrying my son. Just try carrying a watermelon inside your winter coat. Ain't gonna happen!

The easiest for me is a poncho rather than a cape. It seems easier and warmer to just drop it over my head rather than mess with the buttons or zippers of a cape. I do have a very thick fleece poncho that I wear outside even on the coldest of winter days. Instead of pockets, it has like two continuous pockets on the front like you see on some sweatshirts. It's about knee length. The longer they are, the less likely they will fly up in the wind. I got it at Wally World. They do have a wide selection on Amazon if you search for poncho or cape separately. Wool might be warmer than fleece, but that's also pricier. And, I had an expensive Pendleton destroyed by moths one time, so I'm a little spooked about wool.

What really stinks is finding out you really like something (dumped) and NOT being able to duplicate it!

Huh? ARE you sure??? I would have sworn you had posted a mini pony w/ a cart going down the street ... Wonder if that was Renolizzie now? Ok - I'm really more scatter brained than usual ... Anyway - I think I'd be the "crazy cat lady" but w/ the ponies! Mucking a "stall" is still mucking - no matter the location right?!!! :p

Here's the link for the samples: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor-station/329822-free-liquid-samples-first-timers.html
I'm vaping the "Dover" right now w/ a VV Twist. For a 16mg vape - it's pretty mild. It really surprised me as I normally vape at 12mg.

Can't believe how much I'm enjoying tobacco flavors now. When I first started I couldn't stand 'em!
I think SI's RY4 is my favorite all-day vape for now. Other's that seemed to have a "perfumey" aftertaste now taste good. I don't think I would get rid of something bcs I don't like it today. Next month might be different. Has anyone else noticed how what you just ate affects your vape? After broccoli - I don't like RY4 ... go figure ...

off to see my fur-kids! have a good day!

Kico... Since I've "discovered" RY4, I can't put it down. Chain-vaping 18mg is a little much for me so I placed an order with SI for 12mg. Maybe I should have ordered 6mg. I'm lovin me some RY4!

Thanks for the link for free juice samples. Can you guess which flavor I would want to try?

Raven really does look at you folks as family. We are enjoying ourselves and building on the relationship that has become a strong force between us. But I insist that Raven maintains contact with you. Believe me, you are not taking any time away from us. You are her friends and family.

Okay enough of this. Back to the fun.....

AND - Why do YOU think "We" (or should I say "I") were (was) giving "YOU" a hard time . . . ;)

What "You" think "We" (or again "I") would just let "You" walk in and take her away from "Us" ("Me") . . .

Although, "We" (I) know That "We" (I) would never lose "Our" (My) Little "Resident Wood Nymph" - "RAVE" . . . :D

However, "We're" GOOD (Well now We are ;) ), especially since "You" passed the "Lexi" test . . .

Poncho's are back? Whoopee!!! Think I'll investigate that too!

Yes - I believe your all correct - that was most likely Reno's pony & cart. Cute no matter WHO!

Rave & Blues - glad your enjoying some bonding time in person! Glad to hear from you too!

Awsum: I'm guessing you and Raynes must be out helping the storm survivors! Why else would you both be MIA?!? hmmm?
I say survivors - victims means your still a victim and it's a sad mindset.

Holly: Your quite right - there is NO life before coffee!

JoAnn - Do I get more than one guess????? LOL! I already saw it! :D I can vape at 16 but usually go for 12 so I don't get sick! Only takes one time! On another thread - one member has "If I'm awake, I vape!" in his siggy ... I can relate! I can also go pretty easily for several hours if I'm busy - social non-smoker when it was stinkies.

Spent a couple hours outside (still 52!) while it was nice - mucking out a "stall" - apparently my city slicker hubby has no clue!
It was great just being out by them! :)

Well - the dryer is calling my name - need to finish gettin in order for the week. Tomorrow I'm working half a day. I get to join the "My Kids Are Coming Home" club! Foster son & wife are stopping for the afternoon & eve!

Have a great week if I don't get to peek in ... Oh a little early but - Happy Thanksgiving to y'all!
I'll try to leave a pumpkin pie for Friday's coffee! :vapor:

Here is my little horsey. He is growing in his winter woolies and starting to look very fuzzy. He is 10, almost 11 years old and he is a gelding. He is 31 1/2" tall at the last hair at the base of his mane.

It was pretty windy out so we didn't try to do anything fancy today:)

OMG!!!! He is precious!! No wonder you can't stay away from him. If it were possible, I would have him in the house with me. Do you have anymore horses or is he the only one? Can't get over how DARLING he is!!!! Thanks for posting his pic!

I saw this wool poncho, not sure if this would be something you might consider. It really looks warm and not very long. This website had others also. Hope this helps a little in your search.

Wool Poncho outerwear by Half Moon

Thanks, JoAnn, for the feedback. I thought of ponchos in the beginning, but I decided that getting it over my head might be more difficult than something that opens down the front. Here's what I imagine as the perfect cape: black wool lined with red or royal blue lining, but the site I mentioned warned that lining stretches differently than the material that the cape is made from, so, do I really need a lining? I wasn't thinking of a hood till I saw those capes on the site, but I guess having one might be useful, and if I didn't want to use it, it could just hang down behind. Then I thought the slits in the sides would be better than having to reach up from underneath it to use my left hand or when my right arm is more useful, using that one, too. I thought of something that closes pretty close to my neck. I saw some with deep V-necks that would mean adding a scarf to warm my front. Yes, I thought of some manner of closing the length of the cape, buttons inside a hidden placket, but a zipper might be a good idea. What about Velcro? Any more input?

I know what you mean about moths destroying wool, but I have a cedar chest to store wool items in that seems to work well. Of course, it's full now, so I'd have to figure out how to store a cape in it. Get rid of stuff I never wear? Horrors!
