Everybody seems excited about VV for Smokless Image, but you need to keep their warning in the back of your head. SI cartos, nanos, T3s etc. are made for 3.7 volts. When you up the voltage, you risk burning out your coils. I already have a 510 to 808 adaptor (very cheap), so if I ever go that route, I can use cartos and devices made for higher voltages. Although I love SI products, I think they should have gone the route of Vamo type device using separate batteries.
Another subject: Possible regulation? Not a question of what regulation, but also when, possibly as soon as April 2013. I have not thought a lot about what to stock up on. Personally I do not like the idea of mixing my own nic levels. If you do you need to be very careful and very precise. Also heavy levels of nicotine are deadly, even if touched or if you inhale the vapors. Just read the DYI warnings if you think I am crying wolf. I would probably order as much 48 MG nic as I could afford in PG and dilute it 4 times with VG to get it to 12 nic or 8 times for 6 nic. Personally I would not want to handle a much higher level. As far as mechanicals, I just can't imagine how the government can possibley regulate, ban, or control the sale or import of a vaporizer like the X2, Vamo, ProVari etc. These "devices" in and of themselves contain no tobacco, so they should not fall under the regulations, but who knows what the US Government will do.
