Well, there are $20 dollar bits that are probably cheapos and $50 bits that are probably better and $80 bits which are getting pricey and then there are Mylar bits which are $149. I'm thinking over priced.

Yes, I anticipated my last haircut but didn't make an appointment that was a couple of inches of hair growth ago. I think I like the way my gal cuts my hair but I despise the way she blathers on and the way she talks makes me want to watch my purse while I am there.

Good luck, Raven. Give 'em heck.

Lizzie, I always used bits with copper inlay. The copper stimulates saliva production, so the horses mouth stays moist (and thus comfortable) with the bit in. I got my guy when he was green broke--and he had been started right. I never had any problems...except when he saw his bridle, you had to be quick! because he'd be trying to stick his head in it. He'd wrap his neck completely across my middle, trying to nose into the headstall. I used a regular snaffle for years, then moved to a type of curb with a broken bit and short swivel shanks. I doubt that that is applicable to driving, though. But a cold iron (is that the right nomenclature?) sweet iron bit with copper inlays is the only thing I (or any of the people I rode with), used, whatever the configuration.

Hey Homies! Whoops wrong forum. Welcome back Raynes, and I see Awsum is sneaking back into the conversations again. Glad to see both of you. I noticed most of you are using the Vamo like me. I have been using mine every day since October every day almost all day and it works just as good now as it did on day one, maybe even better. I am hoping this little baby keeps on vapin for a long, long time.

Here ya go Lizzie. My new camera came in so the pictures show the actual color so to speak.

My I love me wall of some of my triathlon and marathoning days.

Whisper on the new Ikea footstool. I found faux sheep skins to give her some grip to jump and warmth. My computer where I talk to you! I still have some art work to buy, so the other walls will have something else besides me plastered on them. :)

Wow! You really did an excellent job and it looks professionally done. Love the color that you chose for the walls and the flooring. You have good taste in your selections. Whisper approves of it too!

I have to admit that this thing is blowing me away! Now I can see why so many people are getting it and it's very easy to use too. Sometimes I use it in the 18350 mode but not always. I like having that choice since I have more batteries. I haven't noticed that rattlesnake sound that some people mentioned. Maybe it depends on the tank or clearo that is used. I mostly use cartotanks on it.

Hey JoAnn, watch taking your carto tank out of the air conditioned house into the extreme heat. I found out it causes my tanks to start clogging up and flooding. I think it has to do with the different temperature and air pressure. I just poured the juice which was in the tank back into the jar and vaped the carto for about 20 minutes without the tank, then reinserted it and filled it up again. Works fine now. I think this happens more often on a carto which has been used about a week and is ready to be cleaned or thrown away.

Nice! Love the wall color.

Looks like Whisper gets to a view out the window from on her new Ikea footstool with fancy fluffy warm throw:)

Thanks for the input on bits, Raynes. Apparently it is the consensus that a naffle bit is to be used for driving but Icould get it in mullen, the hinged kind or possible one with copper inlay but the choices are more limited when your little horsey mouth is only 3 1/2 to 4 inches wide:)

Anybody got any NEW great all day vape recipes?

I have so many flavors available to mix, but I am stuck on Double RY4 for most of the time. I vape a light tobacco mix off and on, but would really like to find another two or three great flavor recipes.

Tail, if you got the sheepskins from IKEA, they're not faux. They're real. I know this, because I remember how gamy they used to get sometimes, when we piled them up really high in the bins!

Oh, dang. Now I'm craving cornbread!

How are ya Lizzie, that wasn't me that gave you the bit info that was Cat. LOL. My favorite bit is a sweet iron. Copper works well to, either one. You may have to try a few to see which one fits Wiseguy and see what he likes. Over the yrs I've had horses that prefer one type of metal over the other. Jeffers Equine used to have a very good resource about bits in their catalogs.

Does anybody know of a caramel DIY flavor that doesn't taste like stale Coke? Using Capella now. Ick.
It's in my creme brulee mix, but it tasted like this when I tried it alone too. Looking for Halloween candy caramel or Werthers.

Cindy, I have used Wizard Labs (The Perfumer's Apprentice / The Flavor Apprentice) Regular Carmel and Caramel Candy. Neither tasted like stale coke to me, but I mix mine with Double RY4 and have not tired them alone. I have yet to find ANY flavor that tastes good alone, most are mixes with a primary flavor and side additives. I think you might want the Caramel Candy type of flavor.
