We had a bunch of them planted out back near the dump yard that was behind us. When the neighbor's had a tree removed that was partly on our property, it left a big empty spot out front. My dad dug up all the bulbs and replanted them in that empty spot. They were just so pretty. I swear they were orange in the back yard, but turned purple in the front. Actually, this might not even be a daylily, but this is exactly what we had in our yard.

That looks like an iris to me.

Good Morning gang! TGIF! and let's have a good weekend!

Today will be yet another day of mowing, lol, dang I am boring! The rider has been hospitalized, we are hoping it pulls through and comes home to spend many more productive years with us.

We went to visit the Grand kids yesterday, so much fun. The twins are 3 months old already, growing like weeds, and one of them has learned to roll over. He is surprised every time, can't figure out what happened, lol. It's still somewhat of a crazy house over there, but I can see they are getting used to things and starting to relax more.

My 2-almost-3 yr old grandson thinks I'm wonderful because I spied a tiny toad in the grass and caught it for him to see up close. It was nice because the toad cooperated and sat still on his palm for a good minute. Happily, he did not get squished! We then let him go and watched him hop off on his merry way. That and band-aids, which I always keep in my purse. Nothing beats a dinosaur or snoopy band-aid, right?

I was feeling kind of frustrated to be passed over in the suggestion thread a while back, trying again in the Ask Imagine thread! ;)

The dark brown one is a wood-chewer! Look at that fence. Not good. What those ponies need is to get out on a pasture with grass. Horses need to eat almost continuously. If you feed them meals a few times a day rather than letting them chew hay or grass constantly, often you get behavior like this.

Been feeling down and not sure if/when I'll break.
Call me if you want to talk. It will be an excellent opportunity for me to fiddle with phone/HA settings to get best quality sound. My e-mail will be coming to you in PM.

Me, too! ;)

Symptom of major equine boredom, eating wood.

Good idea about smudging the house! I haven't done mine in a while! I should, though! Have had some negative people in here not too long ago! You have a great evening, yourself, Tail!

My boss went to the Seattle area and brought back a huge sage wrap for me because I haven't found a store around here that sells them. It's two inches wide. I really smoked up the house and noted that not one of my smoke detectors went off. <<They do go bad after awhile, including those that are wired to the house folks!!!>>

I slept well last night and I feel better to be in the house this morning. I hope I got every bit of negativity out of the house and surrounding as I walked my property and really ramped it up where the burglars had used the rear fence to steal my belongings.

Glad I bought new smoke detectors to put up today! Culligan should be showing up this morning to swap out my reverse osmosis and ice maker filter. Then I can finally go to the grocery store. I haven't been in almost 2 weeks and I'm out of just about everything!

Hope everyone has a great day!

I never thought about horses at the zoo back then! It even looks like sand or gravel in the background, not any grass! How sad!

Thanks for the offer, Meniere! I am off to bed as soon as I take my pills. Maybe later if you're around?

Tail, you are lucky they didn't go off! Ours go off when hubby is cooking, even without steam. Just has to open up the oven door and it'll go off. Now it doesn't do it anymore, but the oldest dog, Sassy will still bark when he does those things! Just as if the alarm did go off! *sigh* Have a great day/weekend yourself!

Off to bed! Hubby's been nosing around and checking up on me whenever he hears me typing. Must know I'm mad at him.

One place I lived, the smoke alarm was in the hallway outside the bathroom door, and it would go off whenever anyone took a shower. That was really annoying.
