Nope, 50 years ago, you would have been wearing a mini skirt and a tight blouse, Celtic. They were strutting their stuff back then, too.

I was actually thinking of the fifties but I got in a hurry! Heehee but I woulda been kinda like the outcast greaser chick with the jeans and such, I hate dresses. My worst fear would be caught walking over an air vent and ending up in Marilyn Monroe pose!....

It was short shorts, in the 1950s, Celtic. They were tight, extremely short and didn't leave much to the imagination. LOL

I Might've been persuaded to wear a poodle skirt if I had been asked to a sock hop! I wish I had a (I think) 57 Bel Air.

And I LOVE the muscle cars from the 60's.

I would love to have a fully restored 65 mustang and I really want to have a 69 camaro

You have good taste, Celtic. I have a 2002 Mustang and my first new car was a 1970 Camaro. 1969 was a great year for Camaros, but the 1970 model wasn't that great. I had mine for 6 years, before I traded it in. A kid bought it and totaled it on a main road. I don't know if he survived the crash or not, I hope he did and learned his lesson.

    :ohmy:aww come on I know they wore jeans!!:glare: maybe ? sometimes? Well I would have worn jeans!!!!:p
I don't remember them wearing jeans, back then. Poodle skirts, dresses, short shorts, those I remember. But I was really too young in the 1950s to pay close attention to what women were wearing. LOL

I was not in this country on the 70s but i remember my parents calling the blue jeans as mechanics pants

I would have liked one of those cars back then, too. Unfortunately, all I could afford was a used Ford Falcon, but that was a great car, too.

My daddy instilled a good taste in cars in me before he died. Also he told me if I ever get a Ford truck to make sure I get one from before 1980 which was when some yahoo screwed up how they were made. So I guess I would stick with my favorite Ford era 'the Fifties' and get one with all the roundness and bulbousness:p. I like the fact that they are all made with metal and when you pop the hood to work on them you can see the ground! Carburetors!!! I hate fuel injectors and all the dang wires and such:glare:...
