The Bald Eagle. It's my favorite bird and why I chose to draw it. I can't describe the feeling I get when I see one. This vid is awsum.

I think eagles are neat, too. I've only seen one in the wild. You never did show us the picture of the eagle you drew. I'd like to see it, even if you're dissatisfied with it. If you ask, we might be able to help you improve it. If you don't want to make any further changes, I'd still like to see it.

All right old people and others, coffee is on!

I have an entire list of things to get done today but I may not be doing everything on that list. I'm tired. I think my top priority will be working with my little horses.

And calling Dell and waiting and waiting and waiting.

When you call Dell, be sure to have something to do while you wait. A good book you can read, or mending or something. It'll make the wait less bothersome.

We have a few around here so I get to see them once in awhile.

I thought I had posted the redo of the eagle. I think all I changed was I added back in the wispy feathers on the back of his head that got smudged out and enlarged his nose hole. I have it in a frame now so I just took a pic of it so excuse the flash glare.

That's a really great picture. You are really very talented. I know you agonize over things you miss, and sometimes it seems all we do is tell you about them, but in spite of that, you really are an artist!

Thank you Sandy. I couldn't have done this without all of the feedback I got so it isn't agonizing. I get frustrated with myself for missing things but I'll get better at catching those things and then you guys won't have anything to point out.

They are sending me a box and then fed ex will pick up my tablet. Hopefully they will fix it and it will be running again in 3-6 business days plus 2 days for getting the box, etc. Crossing my fingers that I will be back to using my tablet within 2 weeks.

Fingers and toes crossed. ;)

Here is the redo of the squirrel. I reworked the ears but they still are not in exact proportion but they'll have to do. I added the shading that Rave mentioned plus a few other things. I roughed up the fur on his neck, darkened his paws, tried to give him a hairier armpit but IDK :p and tried to soften that dark black line between his back and tail. I think I might have taken away too much white in the back of the head. It's done unless someone see's something glaring. ;)

I think it's great, a huge improvement over the previous version. The one thing I'll mention is that "dome" that Rave mentioned is too well-defined. Can you soften that line a bit? I think it should match the subtlety of the line above it. Other than that, I'd say it's done. I wonder what Rave will see?

Thanks lizzie and Sandy.

I could soften that hind leg bulge but I kinda like it. Yeah, what will Rave see? 8-o :p
