No, no, no - As soon as I see anything even vaguely camera-like, my head spins around like the kid in The Exorcist.
I know the syndrome, Rave: the only magic I can perform is making myself disappear whenever a still/video camera appears.
Other than whatever Big Brother's been up to, my picture has been taken on exactly 3 occasions in the last 12 years. I've gotten better at it as time has gone by!

To be perfectly frank, I've been going through an MS relapse - so my taste buds (amongst other things) are a bit wonky. So - I'll give them the evaluation that they deserve when I'm back on track. There's a storm brewing here in the Denver metro area, but I'm afraid it is just going to produce more dry lightening - which is what caused the latest wildfire. And the winds....

I went home to Montana to be with her those last days, and it was the year that the state burned, my hometown was completely surrounded by fire. My mom was smoking up to her last day, and she was horribly sick as it was from the radiation treatment, and all that smoke and ash in the air. The skies were always red and thick with haze, and everyone was told to stay indoors. My mom's lungs were already cooked, I worried about her. My brother worked outdoors at a mill, I worried about him. My dad was a reemployed annuitant working for the Forest Service during that summer coordinating firefighting efforts (he was a retired smokejumper), I worried about him. And the land just kept burning. Do a google search for images for "Elk Bath." An employee working for the Bureau of Land Management took a picture in one of the valleys and this is what the whole western area of Montana looked like in the summer of 2000. Welcome to Colorado 2012.

We were watching the news one evening when a Kay Jewlers commercial came on with its little song line. "Every kiss begins with Kay". My wife stated "It had d*m* well better not".
I just now saw your warning......too late! lol It got very dark and then we had some wind and then it rained really hard. Everything looks to be okay, just some leaves and twigs lying about. I'll have to check the news, sometimes one part of the city is fine and another part gets damage from these winds.
It seems to be over now. It's very quiet and getting a little lighter. No sunshine yet, but as hot as it's been it can just stay hidden by the clouds for awhile. I haven't gone outside yet. It's probably as muggy as all get out.
