It's 97 here now but the humidity is intense! I'm getting a little frustrated because I keep watching these storms approaching (wanting rain), and they keep passing me to the north. 'Course that's better than getting slammed by what hit some of you a few days ago.

Think Cool !

What's your experience vaping at Disney??? the only time I did, I did it in the smoking section,,,,,,I just didn't want to upset anyone,,,,,,,that's just not my thing.

I vape throughout the park. We went about a month ago and no one said a word. When we go, I have a motorized scooter because I have 17 pins in my ankle and go through the handicapped entrances to the rides. I bales right in front of cast members and they didn't say anything

The only time I've been approached by someone in public, was in Home Depot. An employee at the end of the aisle saw the cloud and thought I was smoking till he got closer. Then he just wanted to check out my pv and pronounce it "cool".:2cool: (I don't generally create "clouds" in public, but I was going through some trim strips, sorting out the nice true ones; distracted, dontcha know? :D)

WHICH reminds me,,,,,,,,DH and I went to the flea market this morning, and I actually SAW someone vaping! Looked like some kind of an e-go mod or something, not that I am all that knowledgeable,,,,,but that's what it looked like! It was cool to see someone vaping!

I was in Wal Mart this morning and stopped at the Subway counter to buy a sandwich. The couple in front of me were taking forever, so I pulled out my Volt and puffed a couple. Nobody batted an eye.:D

I have yet to come across another vaper. Nobody that's seen me using mine has come up to ask me about it either. I'll be going to a couple casinos next week where I am much more comfortable openly vaping in public indoors. But even that last few times I've done that I still see nobody else and nobody asks. sigh.

I've never encountered another vaper either, and I've been at this almost three years. I've also kept my vaping restricted to my own car away from home with one exception: When my late husband was in the hospital ICU for three weeks I didn't want to waste time with him by going outdoors. I stealth vaped right in front of everyone, but I was vaping an 801 that looked just like a classy, wood-grained pen. I capped the end so that no light would show.

Well .... this is interesting (at least, to me). My son just informed me that, this morning, when he was going through the woods to the property that I will eventually give to him, he saw something. It was a tail disappearing into the brush - tan, about 3' long with a darker tip. It was definitely feline. As I mentioned recently, Indiana's DNR has trail cams of mountain lions in the counties directly north and south of mine. And, my son and his gal spotted a feline print down at the creek about a week ago.
Hmmm ....

I didn't get my order in till late last night and couldn't buy as much as I had intended. But I still ordered a white 78 auto, a blue 65 auto, some cartos and carto cases.

An unexpected expense came up. The vcr part of my vcr/dvd combo player stopped working. Because I still have a lot of movies on vhs I had to decide what to do. After spending yesterday afternoon researching my options I decided to buy a vcr/dvd combo that dubs vhs to dvd. More searching for a good price for one. I'll convert the vhs tapes I still have to dvd. Then when the new unit breaks I'll just need a simple dvd player. I say 'when' it breaks because that's more likely than 'if.'

I didn't know the vcr part of the player was broken till the vhs tape of Cinderella arrived. Don't laugh....I'm still a kid at heart and love those Disney classics.
Don't buy a Samsung one. Lots of bells and whistles, but doesn't last very long. You probably won't have any luck at converting commercial VHS tapes either with those. They're set up not to be able to do that (because of the MacroVision protection on the tapes). I have a lot of VHS tapes too (yeah, some Disney), and if it'll save you some money, you might be better off with just a regular old VCR for those. Funny, it's usually the DVD part that dies first on those combos. I've thrown away quite a few!

I don't know about up there but here they're known as the "Florida Panther" and on the endangered list. They're the exact same animal. I used to keep up with how many were in the state but haven't lately. I've seen prints on the beach at the Canaveral Shores National Park but I've only seen two cats in my life. They've got a broad range here and it's getting harder for them to roam it with "civilization" encroaching. When I lived just south of Jacksonville we had one that would come by twice a year and let out a scream that would make your skin crawl at night but nobody ever saw it. I saw one in my headlights crossing I 95 between Titusville and Daytona at about 3 in the morning and got a pretty good look. Awesome animal. I saw another in Sanford by the river, again crossing the road, with a kitten in her mouth. Guess she was moving her litter for whatever reason. One of those Kodak moments when you don't have a Kodak. I don't need a photo except to show. I can close my eyes and picture it all over again anytime I want. Oh, and it's interesting to me Rave.

I ordered a Toshiba. Five or six years ago I had a vcr/dvd that recorded and I copied some of my vhs tapes onto dvd discs with no problem. Maybe all of the tapes aren't copy protected or the recorders then weren't programmed for the copy protection. If I run into that problem I'll check out the video stabilizers I've heard about, they're supposed to get past the copy protection. The software that lets you transfer to dvd via the computer is supposed to get past it too, but I didn't really want to go that route.

At any rate, I needed a new player, even if it won't transfer the vhs tapes. I temporarily hooked up a very, very old vcr to the tv, in addition to the half broken player. So I have electronic units and wires all over the place. lol But it works, till the new one gets here.

oh my gosh, panthers! Their scream is like no other!! It sounds to me like a woman being murdered!

Mr Outlaw, interesting that you vape all over Disney,,,,,I asked a cast member today and he said I "probably wouldn't have a problem",,,I don't think I'd do it if I was in line or anything,,,,,,but it wasn't busy tonight and there were several places I could have pulled out of the crowd over to the side and vaped out of the general flow of traffic.

DH and I were having a ball today watching the Orlando police toss some woman out of Disney World,,,,,,,,yeah, wearing a skirt so short her wahoo showed,,,,,,no panties,,,,,,,,AT DISNEY WORLD!!!! WITH TONS OF KIDS,,,,,,,I tell you what, who the HECK are these people who'd do that?? and THEN she argued with the cast members and they had to call police. Geez.

Good Evening, been a while since I've been on here. Just wanted to give a bit of advice. If you ever have to throw things in containers to prepare to evacuate your home, keep track of your e-cig stuff. So happy to be in my home when so many don't have one any more, but wish I knew where the rest of my batteries and chargers were.
