There's a 4 second cutoff on the regular batteries. The battery will blink when you hit the cutoff. I believe it keeps things from overheating or some such. The cutoff on auto X2's in a little longer, but I rarely can hit a cutoff on an X2. Even 4 seconds is long for me.

LOL, yep, I just did it on purpose, and that is what it is,,,,,DD is relieved to know she is not losing her mind!
Isn't it more like 5 for manuals and 7 on autos? And then what, like 10+ on X2s?

I read seven seconds,,,,that's why I timed myself for more than 7 seconds
and yes, it's LONG,,,,,,I rarely puff that long LOL

...well OK, going veg and working out more too, but vaping made all that other stuff possible.
Additional info:
If your led lights up continuously 2-3 secs without blinking, you have a shorted carto or resistance below 1,2Ω.
Example: You take a drag and nothing happens but the led lights up for 2-3 seconds on full brightness.

I never hit it when I'm using mine in a cigarette like maner but when I put it in my pipe I puff diferently. Long slow easy draws just like a real pipe. I seem to hit it more often than not that way. Love my pipe.

Yeaah - That was probably her first clue.
