I wonder if people not on Facebook can see this. I can, because I'm on Facebook, and the poster is not a "friend." But if you don't have a Facebook page, can you still view it?
The answer would be yes, Canned roadkill.

As far as VVs are concerned, I have no direct experience, but I do have a feeling it's kind of like fine tuning a race car in some respects. I think, or at the very least hope, that SI has selected their working voltage and atomizer resistances to produce optimal flavor and vapor. While that may work for most people I also recognize that everybody is different and some folks might like to fine tune things. The biggest problem I see with them, VVs, is their physical size. Yeah, I know I have a size hangup (LOL) but if things get too big I'm just not interested. An X2-650 is plenty big enough and has enough capacity to satisfy me, but maybe not the next person. Then you have the folks that like to collect things and the fans of the latest and greatest. I guess it all comes down to whatever floats your boat, but knocking one product with unsupported claims isn't acceptable and, in my mind and experience, starting someone out with a mid to large system is just plain dumb. My opinion, worth what it costs you.

I totally agree with you. IMO simple is best. Introducing a newbie to a complicated system is setting them up for failure. That's another reason I love SI they want people to succeed in getting off smokes. When someone approaches me at work I let them try my Volts and hand them a SI business card. Maybe I'm wrong here, but I don't even mention the E-cig forum to them until after they get their Volts for the reasons you mentioned above.
As soon as I was allowed to after I did the necessary posts I headed over here to Voltville.Today is the first time I have gotten to post in quite and I sure do miss everyone.

"And here she comes, out of left field..."

Ah, the wonders of Octagon Soap! I found it at BigLots! for 40 cents, and thought I'd try it on the psoriasis that I've had on my shins for 20 years. I just read up on it, and it looks like I'll be going back for more...to make cheap-but-effective laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, ...

Congrats on 40 years, Wuzz! Way to go!

Sorry, Ben - don't know anything about netbooks, but I can tell you that I HATE ANYTHING THAT SAMSUNG MAKES! I've always been a big fan of Asus though, and I thought they had some with Linux preinstalled. Not a big fan of Toshiba or Dell either. The only reason I have a Dell laptop now is because I couldn't afford an Asus (or anything else for that matter). I hate it.

The new SI Shop in NY looks pretty cool, check out the pics - look at all those supplies. I think the workload of mailmen in that part of NY will be cut in half :vapor:

Do you mean the one in Hoboken, NJ, just outside NYC?

I wonder if they will ever open one in Ithaca, NY. Probably not. They are in Ohio. They opened a store on the East Coast. My guess is that the next store will be on the West Coast, probably LA or SF.

I think she mentioned Lodi once awhile back. Might as well be Mars. :( Or maybe that was just some existing shop that carried Volt products too. California is a pretty big state, could use one in both SF and LA (hopefully just outside LA, the traffic in LA is unbearable.)
