Konstantines solar PCC sounds cool, just wish I could view his video...all I get is IE has stopped working, tries to recover but then I still can't watch it....Any thoughts on what my pc is missing & how to fix this problem? btw i can watch youtube videos so dunno whats up

The dreaded IE has stopped working. It isn't easy to fix. More like trial and error.

You may need to upgrade your IE. What version are you using? Easiest step.

Next run a program called Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. It is free (for home use) but an excellent piece of software. Run in in quick mode. Let it fix any issues it finds. If it finds any reboot and run it again. Repeat until nothing is found. Hopefully that fixes your issue. It is the easiest. (Should be done just in case)

If that doesn't then do this is IE settings (sorry many version out there and I can't remember the exact way)

Tools > Manage Add-ons

You will see a list of addons. Disable them all. Make sure to hit them all. Test and see if works.

You can try resetting IE. This may or may not remove all your bookmarks. First back up your bookmark directory. It is found in Internet Explorer settings/properties Advanced tab.

Next download Mozilla Firefox (free for home use as well). It is one of the safest browsers out there. Reasons are varied as to why. IE is always hacked. The nature of being the 800 pound gorilla. Chrome is nice for usability between platforms. Still they data mine like crazy. The price you pay for being free.

There are other things you can do but it is more advanced. Not sure how much you know about pcs.. but my mom had this problem and this is how we got her fixed. Except she wouldn't download Firefox.

Good luck. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

If it's IE9 and you've got the menu toolbar activated go to tools, uncheck activex filtering then refresh the page. Most youtube videos won't play with it activated. Or right click in the menu area and active the favorites toolbar. Safety will appear toward the right and has activex filtering as one of the options. It's the simplest thing and usually works like a charm.

Well, I had my failure of an "in use" CE3 a little while ago. I refilled it this morning, along with the rest of my CE3 rotation, and was using it on and off over the morning. I had some JC Red Oak Tennessee Cured in it previously and didn't bother to clean it before I refilled and the taste was RY4 with just a slight hint of the Tennessee Cured in the background, quite nice at least to me. Anyhow, I started using it as we were getting lunch ready and I handed it to my wife, immediately after taking a nice, flavourful, vapor laden drag so she could try it. She took a drag, no vapor and made a face, then took another, stronger drag. Again no vapor and this time her face really wrinkled up and she said she didn't like it at all and handed it back to me. Wondering why she got no vapor I took a nice, deep, long drag and got a mouthful of liquid, YUCK. I tried another, freshly charged battery, and got the same result. It was so bad that liquid was collecting in the little space between the tip and the inner seal. I promptly tried another CE3 on both batteries and it worked fine. I'll empty it out later and see if I can figure out what the heck went wrong. So far I've used seven out of the ten I bought and this is the second I would call a failure.

Happy Day To Everyone!
Thankyou to the many who have given their time in trying to help me with my pc issues.
I've printed out everyones suggestions and will go over them & try a few things later on.
Will put the billy on ready for when I tackle things ...
thoughts: the pc's not old, has just been overhauled within its warranty period & they gave me a new hard drive & said there was also a power issue but that was supposedly fixed also...I'm wondering if the original installation disk is faulty:unsure:
Anyhow, I will try your suggestions first before sending it away again...want to avoid that but I dont feel that I should be putting up with these issues considering its been squeeky cleaned lol

I don't know where you bought it or the brand, but I'd ask for a new one, or credit toward a new one and pick another brand. If it takes an "I'll cause a scene moment", I'm great at those!

I agree with awsum ... if its had power issues and hard drive issues and its fairly new i would throw a stink. try those quick checks like u said 1st. As for the installation disk, if ur talking about the DVD not the hard drive windows installation, i would think it would either work or work or not work ... but someone smarter can correct me on that.

Good Luck :)

Here we goooooo....
Coffee brewed as I viewed the suggestions...
Latest version of IE so no need to upgrade....
Already had Malwarebytes so all ok there but had never run it....
Poured a HUGE cup o joe & had many PV's filled & ready for action...:toast: :vapor:
Nervously glared at the pc :glare: (tune from jaws enters my head, der dum der dum der dum dum dum etc etc etc)
Advice was to run in quick mode ( I now realize I mistook this for " run in safe mode", :oops:dont shoot me yet!)..... lost the ability to use the keyboard somewhere in the process plus a few other things happened but thats another story ......anyhoooo I tried 5 times before I could bring on safe mode & seems some of my usb ports have gone on holiday for a while (hope they have a nice break )
Found one usb port that worked hoorayyyyyyy :)
Safe Mode:Totally unexpected black screen with white writing rolling & scrolling frantically all over the screen installing computer files WTFudge!!!!  ...sat drinkin coffee n vapin maself silly letting it do its thing.
Finally I ran Malware, nothing, ran again, nothing... all clear...restarted the pc!
Just for laughs I looked for Konstantines pcc solar video.....& guess what!
I could view it now!!!!:D
Soooo I decided not to do anything else for the moment...
Gawd this pc fixin stuff is tiring LOL

Forgot to mention earlier ( was probably a crucial piece of info, duh!)
Last week my daughter was watching a youtube video & then we had a BLUE screen (think they call it a blue screen of death ) within the title was "System_Service_Exception"
Could this mean that the pc was never installed correctly or missing something??

Hi, everyone!

I'm still alive, but I have made the attempt to go vape-free, and so I have been avoiding this forum. It has been ten days sense I last vaped. Wish me luck.

Hey! Good luck to you! You've rounded that corner and are on the home stretch. GREAT WORK! Just remember that if you "fall off the wagon" you go back to vaping and not the nasty stinkies. We'll be pulling for you!

You can use teamviewer. No need to install, i use it everyday to repair PC's in London, 500-600km away or any other part of the world.
You just watch the screen, you can also talk if needed through this.
Nothing is impossible.
