I hear a lot of good things about SI's watermelon but I'm the same as you Kico, not a fan of it to eat but maybe I'll try vaping it oneday
It takes a few tries or it did for me anyway to taste the watermelon. Your probably far enough along now your taste buds will behave.First few tries to me it tasted just like soap. Now its one of my favorites. Its been tasting true but today to me it tasted like lemon which is fine I like lemon.

Thanks! But I didn't create it, so I don't deserve any credit. :)
You definately deserve some credit! Its beautifully natural & kept clean whether you helped keep it that way or if it naturally stays that way I dont know ...but...if some "numbskull idiot" lived there without the love of nature & trashed the land could you imagine how heartbreaking that would be!! You get full credit in my mind anyway! Ohh & the wildlife thank you as well :)

Yup - Where is that "What She Said" button?! I've been thinking those pics remind me a little of a spot at Glacier Nat'l. So serene.
Like Enzusa said - if someone that didn't hold any appreciation for nature was there =- it might not be that CLEAN relaxing spot. (thinking of the ditches I mow along a section of highway - a grocery bag of crap 'bout every time (7-10 days)).

I have to say It's been a treat catching up with all the chit chat. Love the humor. It has helped through a rough spot.
Let's just say you can go home, but be careful what you wish for. I don't necessarily want a cig to smoke - I just grab a stronger juice to vape - as long as I don't let myself think it doesn't matter I really haven't had toooo much trouble stayin' off the stinkies. Probably cuz I'm too broke right now~!!! So, to ensure that - I just ordered a sampler of Dutch Apple pie; Espresso; BlueBerry Cream & and full 30ml Melon juices from The Plume! Hey it's just under $20 with the shipping and 20% off (code: thankyou).

Going to be a busy day tomorrow - wishing y'all a great day / night and happy vaping!

OUCH. Did you get a brand new one? What model?

Got a 2007 f250 king ranch with a 6.0 diesel. It has 33k miles on it. I wish it was the 7.3 diesel, but ford stopped making them. My mechanic is a certified ford diesel mechanic and works for ford. He works on my truck at his house.

Paid $22k for it and got $4500 for my old one. Not bad since a new one is $55k-$60k

Worst part is that since I try live debt free (no credit cards, mortgage or car payment in 9 years), I'm getting screwed in finance charges. After 4 dealerships, the best rate I could get was 22% interest. I figure I'll pay it for a year and then try to refinance to a lower rate and then pay extra towards the principle.

At least I quit smoking. That helps in 2 ways. The new truck won't have that horrible smell and since I was spending $300 a month on analogs, I can put that towards the $470 truck payment

I know what you mean. My F250 has a gasoline engine and I drove it 90mi everyday plus used it on the farm. It saved me money to get a gently used car and just use my truck on the farm. Sure do miss driving it all the time but I grin every time I fill up my car. What I save on gas makes my car payment.
I'd love to have a King Ranch crew cab but that will never happen just can't see paying as much for a truck that you could buy a house for.
You REALLY lucked out on that deal.

Glad to be back. Ive missed you guys. It's been so hectic and stressful. I almost ended up in the hospital because of my blood pressure and I've always had perfect pressure.

Didn't get a dually, they are about double what I paid for my old one 10 years ago. I ended up with a used f250 king ranch with a 6.0 diesel with 33k miles on it. Got a great deal and Ford even gave me $4500 for the old one.

Glad to see u back but sorry about ur blood pressure ... i hope ur remaining week less stressful.

If you ever get this way, the car racing track at Watkins Glen, NY, has a program where for a reasonable fee, you can drive your car on the track. This is on days when there's no race. I'd think that might be interesting to some wannabe racers.

i would love to at least see a Race at Watkins Glenn someday.... We have Road Atanta here and i need to go to a race sometime. Both are in the Petite Lemans Series which would be amazing to see. At this time, just goin to a movie is not in the budget but someday i will. Oh well i am saving about 160/month not smoking so as soon as find a job i can do enjoy the extra money

.... Good luck with ur new truck, sounds like it was time. At least u can plan the monthly payment and not worry about anymore unexpected repairs.

I never had much sense as a child or an adult and absolutely no fear. I have sky dived, scuba dived I have my Single Engine VFR Pilots License, raced Motocross, Flat Track, Drag Raced all Motorcycle of course, cars are too slow. I have always pushed the envelope, my wife says I have a death wish but only other adrenalin junkies understand what it's about. Fastest I've gone on the track is 215mph Fastest on the interstate next to my house is 170. Got a ticket on my 45th birthday for 140 in a 65 also got to go to the police station and pay a $2300 fine. Now I just have the memories unless of course....:)

My fastest's is about 145. that was years ago in my twin turbo RX7. i was in too much traffic to go that fast but two motorcycle's passed me at about 90 & there was a lul in traffic for a minute or so. and i thought i wonder if i can beat em top end because i know just about a any motorcycle will beat any car at low speeds. Anyway i passed them and then they flew by me, so they must all so be more aerodynamic, not just lighter. Anyway i did redline 4th gear, i think that would of been around 145. That car spec-ed at 165 top speed so it got up there pretty fast.

Have u ever raced Road Atlanta ?

I'd love to ditch the credit cards, but that makes vaping a little tough :( Keeoping a good credit score is always a problem but, hopefully, you'll be able to refi at a better rate in the near future. I know that payment isn't particularly high by todays standards, but jeesh! I just hope it isn't too painful.

A YEAR !!!! Kico, what helps me is to think in terms of my body repairing itself after yrs of smoking. It frustrates the heck out of me to BUT if I have a reason as to why I can't taste my vapes then I can deal with it better if that makes any sense at all. The mouth rinse trick doesn't work for me like it did.
Today was a rotten vape day for me,and I so wanted to get a pack of smokes but for what? To go through this all over again? Not me I'll go through every juice every vendor has to offer before I do that, and I know me well enough to know I couldn't smoke just one now like I did when I first started vaping,I'd smoke the whole pack one right after the other.

Maybe sugarless gum would help you. I keep a stash of EXTRA Dessert Delites and Trident Layers. Chewing gum gives your taste buds a break from vaping.

While having no debt is good, not having any credit history isn't. It is better to have a credit card then pay it off each month and accomplish both goals. 22% is an outrage! Maybe look for a local credit union to join. Their rates are well under 10% -- mine offers it as low as 2.5%.

Good morning everyone. I made coffee its not as good as Lilac's but its here if you want it. I hope you all have a GREAT day.:)

Your coffee is delicious, I'm sure, Raynes. The best coffee I have found is Burger King's. I don't know what it is, there is just something rich about the taste.

In today's economy, you need a credit card or two just to show you have credit. You definitely do not have to carry a balance! Just pay it off when the bill comes in every month. The other thing I like about credit cards is that they give me on line purchasing protection and no company has direct access to my checking account.

There is always the option [if you own your home] to take out a home based line of credit. The interest rates are really low and you pay it back in installments just like you car payment. I can't imagine have a line of credit that is over 7% and quite few banks are closer to 5% right now. Just a thought for you if you own your home.

I know what you mean about keeping the car smelling good. NO stinkies in my nused truck. Chevy with a 454 and plenty of towing capacity so that I can pull that little horse of mine to the fairgrounds or to go driving with some of the ladies around the area. It's an '87 but only has 69,000 miles on it and the lady that had it before me obviously didn't smoke in the truck. So, neither have I but now I have my e cigs for when I am on the road.

Credit cards are good for emergencies, too. They have saved my bacon a couple of times when I was on the road without much cash.

Agreed - they are extremely handy in an emergency situation. I keep a couple but pay off the balance at the end of each month. That helps to build a great credit rating. I've also taken advantage of those "1 Year with no finance charges" deals to build credit, and just make sure that it is paid off before that year ends. I can't imagine trying to function without credit cards.

You know that's really sad to, you do all you can to stay out of debt, make your payments, get things paid off ahead of time and then your punished with high interest rates. What about that, makes any sense? I'm not trying to be funny here, can anyone explain why that is?
