I had a manual 78mm Mother took that over, she's so careless with her vaping stuff she'll just grab a carto and add something to it. Like the last time I visited she wanted me to try a coffee vape of hers and "fixed"it for me,she had put it in a carto that had SI's watermelon in it. So I was kind of leery about getting her a manual X2 afraid that she'd forget to turn it off. Since it has auto shut off I ordered her one she likes a vape fog.
I don't know where I get my OCD from it certainly wasn't from her.

OCD, Attention Deficit Disorder, Hyper and Unfocused - Okay, that would be me...I really think nicotine has helped me over the years and that vaping has lessened my dependence on it compared to smoking. Lately, I have been wanting less nicotine.

Raynes, I may not have to have the place clean for the appraiser but he is taking photos inside and out and I can't bear the thought of having an unkempt house being photographed. Plus, there are a couple of minor repair jobs I need to get done.

I've kind of been on a cleaning jag anyway. This happens to me every winter around Christmas time. I'm just starting a little early this year. Maybe it is because I finally slowed down from summer and can find the time to do the sorting and tossing. Today I tossed some old curtains that I have had in a bin for 3 years and some tacky picture frames that have been in a bin for years!!!!! I also have some nicer things to take to the FISH thrift store and some books to trade in at the used book stores when I go to town next week!!!

I got my new Shark vacuum yesterday and today I got it assembled and tried it out. Nice.

JoAnn, I will probably NEVER give up nicotine. It really helps me with my neurological symptoms. One of the setbacks I had from my attempts to quit smoking was that my lupus flared up & I had all kinds of neuro symptoms -- burning sensations, pins & needles, numbness, etc. That happened every single time I tried to quit. I don't have that issue with vaping." Quoted from Moonstruck
Moonstruck,if you don't mind me asking, and if you don't mind saying, have you been able to control your symptoms on the same nic mg that you have always been using? Shoot me a pm if you like.

Yes, I hardly ever have any neuro symptoms now -- I vape constantly, mostly 18mg, occasionally 24mg, but I usually switch to 12 mg a couple hours before I go to sleep.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Ya know, I see all the commercials for all of these new "wonder" drugs and they usually do make me wonder. By the time they get through the list of risks and problems, I wonder what the heck the drug was for in the first place. Bottom line is that our health, generally, is in our own hands and can't come out of a bottle or a surgery (exceptions for disease and so on of course). Where my wife works probably 25% have had gastric bypass for various "problems" caused by excessive weight. They all lost weight after surgery, amazing. Now, their symptoms are coming back along with the weight again. If they don't change eating habits, nothing will work, pill or surgery, except maybe sewing the lips together.

yeah, Awsum, I have two friends (they are married to EACH OTHER too!) who have lost a ton of weight with the surgery,,,,,,

one of them totally took it seriously, changed lifestyle, now jogs a mile a day (not much, but it's a start!) and she's looking amazing 2 years later,,,,,,,,,,feels better, etc,

the other one lost weight,,,,,,,,,,and promptly put quite a bit back on,,,,,,,,,,,what a shame.

OK, all you with Kindle Fires,,,,,,

is the Amazon Prime for 79.00 a year worth it????????

I don't order from Amazon,,,,,,,but I might if I got the Prime,,,,,,,,

I have the regular Kindle, not Kindle Fire.

I just ordered Prime & have actually thought about it over the last couple years. I went to my Amazon account, looked at all my past orders, and saw that I spend more than that for shipping every year. So it made sense to me to get it just to get the free shipping. I've shopped at Amazon for years for things like family birthday & holiday gifts. I just hate going shopping, so I do it online.

I wouldn't get it just for the Kindle library, though, because you can only check out 1 book per month. Not worth it if that's the only reason you're getting it.

No, I take muscle relaxers and NSAIDS too,,,,,,,,,but since I have one kidney, the NSAIDS must be a low level,,,,,,,the doc and I will talk meds tomorrow IF it turns out I have AS,,,,,,,,,we'll see,,,,nothing can be decided until I know what I have,,,,,hopefully, answers tomorrow at my 4pm appt :)

I love tramadol (Pain pill) but apparently, it has reactions with Cymbalta,,,,,,,I had to give up one of them,,,,,,and no way am I giving up my Cymbalta,,,,,,,,

the Cymbalta takes away 50% of my pain though,,,,,,it was truly a life saver for me,,,,,,I couldn't go to Disney until I got that,,,,,,

a week later, I was walking around Disney,,,,,,,,,it's not always good,,,,I still have bad days,,,,,,,,but it's much better :) what pain is left is manageable.

Chantix is awful. When I was on it I got into a yelling match with a close friend who was also on chantix. The fight was over something dumb too.
One of my co-workers that took said he felt like he wasn't in control of anything,it was like he was watching himself in 3D and powerless to control what he was saying and that he just felt his mind was black like he was in the bottom of a well and couldn't get out.
