He's a Smooth Fox Terrier. Usually both his ears are folded down, he was just being a ham!I'm having a heck of a time keeping him away from his staples, I think I may have to get him a onesy. The ace bandage I wrapped him in slides away. I'm just happy he's doing well enough to start getting nosy about it.

Come to think about it I was still in the Navy (during Vietnam of course) in 1969, so that is also why I missed Woodstock, besides my wife would not have let me go anyway!
I seem to pick up the sounds of a very long marriage there. You are still married to the same lovely lady, aren't you? And I bet she still looks out for your best interest.
My friend of many years calls them "the collar of shame".
They do the job of keeping your pet from licking/chewing/biting a site while it heals, but the poor dog/cat always acts as though they're being punished. A necessary evil, when absolutely necessary.
Thanks Sandy, yes, the vet sent him home with one. It is the plastic kind, so stiff that I couldn't bear to see him trying lay his head down to sleep/rest. I took it off him, I know I'm bad! I will probably have to put it back on him as he recovers more, for now he is not too active and I can get away with just covering his wound. Clown collar is a much more appropriate name. Elizabethan collar sounds dignified and these things are anything but that!
They do work, though, and it's better than him tearing out the staples. I wonder if those inflatable ones are any kinder. I've only had experience with the kind you have.
I've used the softer inflatable ones on cats, well.... because there's nothing dignified about one of those stiff collars on a cat. And they let you know it. I have never used one on a dog. It might be worth a try if he doesn't like the stiff one. I can imagine that has to be uncomfortable.
I'm envious of people that can find their favorite vapes so fast. Its taken me 6mos to find mine. If Rave hadn't kept encouraging me I probably would have gone back to smoking.So you don't like menthol vapes since you quit smoking?
I probably just don't have any taste buds left after smoking 2 PAD for 30 years so it wasn't that hard to find something I liked
So far RY4 is my favorite. Haven't got tired of it yet. Take today for instance, it has been the only one I had all day. Didn't have the taste for anything else. Just changed the nic levels, started with 18 then went to 12. Occasionally 6mg. So yes, three 30ml bottles of RY4.. 18, 12 & 6mg.
As for menthol, it seems I'm losing my taste for it. Don't want menthol mouth again, UGH!!! I have soooo much menthol liquid stored that I haven't touched. Maybe 6 months from now? Most of it's 24mg which makes me jittery. Losing my need for that as well.
I'm trying some of SI's new line and liked the ones I've tried so far. Only one has light menthol, Southern Freeze. It's really good but one clearo full was enough, haven't gone back to it. The Strawnanna, no menthol really good, tastes like the name but who could drink a smoothie every day, not me. Great taste not every day. Back to RY4, good every day, all day. Caresses my tastebuds. Can't wait to try it with the twist & T3. Something new to learn.
Question for anyone. Can you use SI's power pack to charge an Ego twist 1000 mAh with the fast USB charger? I'm not sure that I ordered the right usb to wall plug. It's 300 mAh. I don't know anything about this stuff. Don't want an explosion. Didn't want to ask this on the main SI forum either. Not sure it would be proper. Thanks for any help.
I thought eGo chargers were supposed to be 420mAh, not 300 (the USB dongles with the short cable, right?). Have you tried calling the vendor? Maybe they shipped you the wrong one.
I know getting the right dongle is important (I keep reading how eGos are really picky about that), but I don't think it matters on the other end of the USB (wall/car adapter, computer, etc.). But I don't think I'd try charging it on a PCC. Volt chargers are at 500mAh, and I'm not sure if the eGo has a way internally of limiting what it draws or not (haha, plus the threads wouldn't match). You should maybe ask them about that too, especially if there's a warranty on the battery.
And Deb (sorry, can't find your prev post now), if you're finding regular cartos too harsh, maybe try topping them off with a little liquid - when they run dry or when they get too old is when that happens to me (haha like now. This carto's about 6 months old ) - until you get the clearo issues worked out.

Bo had a splenectomy late last summer, 2011, and the vet gave us the largest one they had, saying "put it on him when you get home". When we got home a got out the tape measure and did a little calculating and it was about two inches too small at the "max" setting to fit him. We "baby sat" hime for about a week to make sure he didn't go to work on the stitches, but he was really good and never did more than look at them a few times. A 160 pound dog with a rigid umbrella collar on would have been a problem anyway, all the knickknacks would have been scattered everywhere! I didn't know there was an infatable version or I would have checked that out.

Things have been up and down for me the last month - was in a car accident which was not my fault but had to have my car repaired, plus physio, time off work...
At least the vaping has been something to enjoy while its all been going on.

As far as my forum name and signature goes, I have been "The White Rabbit" since the days of CB Radio. That was my handle and I have always had a white car or truck. I missed going to "Woodstock" in 1969 (I was 25 years old, a child of the 60s, but married and working long hours) I was and still am a fan of Jefferson Airplane and they had this song "White Rabbit" on their 1967 album Surrealistic Pillow, and it became one of Rolling Stone's 500 top hits of all time.
