Patti & the Emblems. That's Awsum's side of the tracks. They were from Camden, New Jersey. Jerry Blavat, famous DJ from Philadelphia area, loved Patti & the Emblems.

Jerry Blavat; "The geater with the heater. Big boss with the hot sauce."

I think I'm showing my age here. SandySu, you started me on this.

It's fun to go down memory lane, isn't it? I grew up in Philadelphia. Maybe I remember songs from there that weren't popular all over? How about this for local flavor? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8784v748ohs

Oh Debra! I'm so sorry you keep having these troubles.

I'm getting the pink X2 for my daughter (40+ yr-old baby). Still have to wait for Friday to get it though($$$$). I got an Ego twist for myself. Just have to try it out after reading all the glowing posts about variable voltage. Decided on the twist because it seems easy to adjust too and besides, I have a couple of T2's and T3's that to me, don't work all that good with X2's + adapters. My collection is growing!
....oh joann..............I love me x2....bats......love me x2 clearo to.....just want it to stop..........doing wet things to my bats.....what can a poor cat do...............oh santa......will your reindeers make it in time to the land of oz......big santa sacks of T3s.....cause if they don't work....guess ill have to learn to do the ego twist.....heres a song for ya sister sandy su.....ego its not a dirty word......who wrote it..............think aussie

Thanks for the video, Blues. Layla is, in my mind anyway, one of the great pieces of all time. I listened to it here on the laptop but will replay it again on the desktop with the real audio system! From the first time I heard it I loved it and still do. Watching Clapton improvise made me wonder where his mind goes when he's playing like that. I have to admit that I'm jealous in a way of creativity at that level. Another great piece of guitar work is "Classical Gas" by Mason Williams, complete with a full orchestra.

Say hi to Rave for me.

Definitely much better with the sub-woofer vibrating the floor!

Love it like that!! Hubby HATES it!

Yes. I noticed it was down, too. So it wasn't just your server. I find a good way to tell is whether other sites come up fine, and just that one won't work. If you can get other sites, then it's not a problem on your end.

Me too! I tried a couple of times then I got one that said something like.... You are forbidden to view this site... then I stopped trying, thinking that I was banned? Then was relieved this morning WHEW!!

I'll tell Kola, she's a spoiled rotten equine diva who has now learned to open her stall door, and since that was so much FUN she decided to open all of the other horses stall doors too !!! I'm threatening to send her to Blues since she's such a GREAT helper. I'm feeling now, thanks for asking, getting ready to get horse feed in a few

Those clever ones can be a challenge, can't they? You'll need a latch on the stall door that isn't easily opened by horse lips. I rode an Appaloosa (very smart breed of horse in my experience) that opened his stall door and then let all the other horses out. He led them down the main street of the town they were in to the schoolyard, where the horses cavorted, much to the delight of the kids looking out the window, till a helpful neighbor came and rounded them up and took them all home again. After that, his stall door had a special clip on it that was a challenge for me to open. I've never seen another like it since, but what about this? http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/BATTALION-Quick-Link-1RCD1

Well she may have ,I'd posted a month or so back that I had RA,my Dr. also did another test and it tested positve for parvo. (Yes people can get a parvo virus) what it causes is 5TH disease in children and transient arthritis in adults. Suprisingly almost all adults have this virus and it stays dormant like the chicken pox virus until something triggers it. In an adult it mimics RA but but after a treatment with prednisone it passes. We're still not sure whether I have RA or not BUT thanks to a great doc the inflammation is gone.
My heart goes out to all people with autoimmune diseases. They are hard to diagnose, hard to treat, and frustrating for patient and the Dr.
