Thats stil pretty good news!! still praying!

Oh maaan! That was great ---- And I needed that. Thanks!! *still chuckling*

Okay - Here's the Bluesman update. Sorry I've been remiss, but everything was kinda still up in the air.

Thursday, Blues had his surgery (double bypass). Looks like it all went well with one hitch. When they restarted his heart, his rhythm was "off". Dunno if that's supposed to just kick in to a regular rhythm or not, but they need to keep an eye on it.

This morning, he had a transient ischemic attack. That's a mini-stroke. It temporarily slurred Blues' speech and numbed the right side of his body. The doctor said those symptoms lasted about 20 minutes and now have passed. He seems to be normal now. They will need to maintain very close observation and take precautions to avoid further problems. It is not rare to experience a TIA after heart surgery, but they do not want Blues to suffer a stroke.

Frankly folks, I'm freaking out a bit because I can't be there with him. Please continue to send your positive thoughts and prayers his way.

I disagree with that statement... for me... NOT! I had to talk myself through the whole process of using a manual. Most of my X2's were auto's. Love them!! No thought to use... The only reason I got a manual was for dryburning and the Kanger T3 + adapter... did not like THAT combo.. too airy..

but I have a problem having something that I'm not going to use so I started practicing. Sometimes I would forget that I'm using a manual and almost pass out trying to take a draw before realizing... PUSH THE :censored: BUTTON! Then I started to like it more and more and also realized that if I wanted to try vv, I had to "like" the manual X2. Also there is a little more flavor that comes with the manual.

Now I have fully arrived! I am the proud owner of TWO ego twists and ONE mini ego, all manuals. My first love will always be my X2's though... ALL of them!

I have two 78mm auto's and two 78mm manuals. I use the auto's at work. The manuals are the back up at work. At home I use the two
manual X2's.
Now I am a Proud owner of a Provari. Have not tried it yet. Waiting on the novas!!!!!!

all that information would have been great before i ordered my auto x2 :p
No worries though, I'll give it a go, and if i dont like it, I'll order a new one with christmas money! :p

Question though... i thought dry burns were bad?

Dry burns are for clearing out old juice. Just don't dry burn for too long!! For me I do a dry burn for two seconds. Let it cool down do a dry burn again for two seconds. Ready to go!!!!!!!!!!

OK, nobody posting, so I will give you another dumb joke for your morning!

A farmer has three daughters. All three have a date on Friday night.

Friday night comes and the farmer hears a knock at the door. He opens the door and there's a young man on the front porch.
The young man says, "Hi, my name is Freddy. I'm here for Betty. We're gonna go have spaghetti. Is she ready?" And off go Freddie and Betty

About 20 minutes later, the farmer hears another knock at the door. He opens the door and there's another young man on the front porch.
The young man says, "Hi, my name is Joe. I'm here for Flo. We're gonna go to the show. Is she ready to go?" And off go Joe and Flo.

About 15 minutes later, the farmer hears another knock at the door. He opens the door and there's a young man on the front porch.
The young man says, My name is Chuck........And the farmer shoots him.

LOL:lol: Now my question is what was the farmers daughter's name!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Bluesman most likely will have a lot of time at home recovering. I have only known him by way of this thread, but he is thoughtful, kind and considerate. When he gets back on line I hope we can chat some more. In the mean time I know all of us will continue to send the "FORCE" to him with prayers, and good vibes. If you know anything about him, he is a combat veteran of Vietnam with all of the associated wounds and medals. He deserves not only our support, but recognition for his devoted service to our country.

Congrats on moving up. Sorry to be late this morning anybody made coffee yet? AND the world did not end, at least in my area and evidently not in yours.

Please give us a heads up on the Twist as you test it out. I am looking at the new "Vamo or Bamboo" whatever it will finally be called. Health Cabin has them at I think $39.00 and a local on line vendor near me has them for $45.00. The only advantage is that this local vendor "VaporAlley can get me stuff in 1 day in the mail because he is in my zip code, but he is Internet only, no actual storefront.

Hey anybody know what you call Santa's helpers?.............................Subordinate Clauses of course

Dumb joke and Dumb Me - I sit here a lot of the day on the computer, vaping of course and charge my X2 at night, then I thought Hey Dummy why not use the passthrough. Soooooo today I am vaping plugged in and then I won't have to charge every night.

I love your jokes, Rabbit! The world didn't end here, either. It sounds like some snow is coming our way, but nothing like the Midwest had, I think. They are talking about possibly an inch. So far, it's snowing and melting as it lands.

Great News Folks!
Jon Hammar, Marine jailed in Mexico, to be released from prison today

According to Fox News, Joh Hammar's father received a phone call last night indicating his son, a Marine jailed in August for attempting to take an antique gun through Mexico on his way to Costa Rica to go hunting, was to be released and taken to the border this afternoon.

If this actually happens, it will be a blessing. Jon Hammar , 27, joined the Marines and deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq before receiving an honorable discharge in 2007, and serving another four years in inactive reserve. He deserved better than what our country has done for him (seemingly nothing). His parents hired a Mexican lawyer who could not get anything done for 4 months and finally resorted to Fox News and Bill O'Rielly to bring this event to National attention, which I believe is the true cause for his release.

Rave, thank you for letting us know how Blues is doing. It takes a while to get back on your feet after by-pass surgery. I am hoping and praying that his recovery goes well and as quickly as possible. Take care of yourself....you must be exhausted from the waiting, the worry, and not being able to be there. I know you're strong, but still, you take care of yourself.

Rave, thanks for giving us the update. I was wondering all yesterday how it went. I'm sorry to hear there were complications, but they sound like they're under control. I, for one, will keep sending vibes to Blues. Please keep us updated as much as you can. I know it's hard for you from afar. Why can't you be there with him?

Happy Solstice to everyone! It's officially winter now, and it came blowing in thru my area, that's for sure. Not so much snow, 2 inches or so (so far, lol) but the wind! Yikes!

Still sending a blanket of healing to Blues. Rave, thank you for letting us know how he is doing. In fact, sending out the healthy, happy, safe vibes to everyone here.

Oh Uncle, what a photo! I think I found a new "happy place" to visit!! Thank you, you find the best stuff!

First, what do you mean IF!? Don't start thinking that! This is the beginning of your journey into improving your health. NO TURNING BACK!!! Unless you decide "cold turkey" meaning just stopping all methods, total cessation. If you don't mean to totally stop then there is no "IF". Ok, no more preaching :)

You don't have to rush into getting all the new gadgets right away.

Not going back to cigarettes, ever! I would like to eventually end vaping, but for right now, I'm enjoying it. I don't carry a purse and sometimes run out of the house without my PV. Then I have to stop at a gas station and get whatever ecig dejour they have. I've pulled out my little messenger bag and carry that to work. I bought the nice volt yellow/black case that holds more than enough for the day. But it's huge and don't want it clunking around on my belt loop or try to stuff it in pockets.

I started out with V2, so I have a bunch of their batteries both auto and manual. At least everything is plug and play with the SI stuff. I like the X2's because they don't look like a cigarette. The cig lookalikes drive me crazy because I don't want to be associated with smoking any longer. I don't have to explain much when I show people the X2 setup that think I'm smoking.

I'm thrilled about the T3's. That will keep me happy for awhile!

Boy! What a jump!!! Let us know what you think of it. This is not in my immediate future though, too expensive! I do have plans to get a couple of mini novas. From what I've seen, they really look good on X2's and egos and they can really be dressed up with some pretty drip tips.

I know that is not part of your plans. :)

Don't freak out, Rave; just hold firm. I'm sure you're familiar with that. When the time is ripe, you'll go out and see him for yourself; by then, you should be doing a little better, as well. It sucks getting only second-hand info about someone important to you. Do whatever lets you relax a little. (We're always here, for entertainment and distraction purposes, if nothing else.) Good wishes and prayers for Blues.
