That was in the preaches speech, along with footprints. I still can't believe it. I feel even more lonely here.

Chief, tell us about your friend, if it's not too painful. Maybe it'll help you to talk about it, what your friend meant to you, that kind of thing. Some years ago, I lost a very good friend -- she was way too young -- and I felt all sorts of emotions, even anger (not at her, but in general). Sometimes it helps to get it off your chest.

Sorry Chief, I meant to use it as a positive. I'll delete it if you wish. I lost my last living uncle two weeks ago, so I understand your pain.

No need to be sorry. I know what you did. It gives me great comfort. No need to delete. I liked it so much that i have copied it to my computer!!!

She live across the street from me. When we were young. I use to play with the two brothers. She usually tagged along.
The problem I have is that on December 25, she complained about chest pains. A friend took her to the hospital. Major
problems, she flat lined once, they reviver her then emergency surgery to put in a stint. Flat lined again. Revived again, then a major blockage. Passed away.
The father did not tell the children until the 26th. They tried to call her. She left behind 8 year old twins (boy/girl).
I don't blame the father for what he did. I believed in doing the same. Let the children have Christmas.
Right now I still cant believe it. I don't know what I feel. Its tearing me apart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I been hugging Elektra alot.

THAT'S what that thing is. I knew it looked familiar, but didn't quite remember why. And, yeah, I'm def old enough to remember those things; just never used them that much.

I'm definitely old enough to remember these because they travelled with a stack of 45's (#1 on the chart singles) to play while visiting at friends' houses. They were necessities for our precious collection of records. After all, we had to learn the newest dance steps while singing along.

Oh my... those were carefree days! :p

turning 50....im a senior now.............ive hardly got past my teens in my brain space...........OMG!!!....do I have to grow up.... no no no:facepalm::laugh:

It's better to be a senior than to be a freshman. Growing up.... stronger.. better.... NOT the same as growing OLD.

You have so much more to experience and learn, I know that I do and I'm embracing it! ;)
