you've done really well joann getting to 12mg...yes I find I still need a 12mg hit....till lunch time...then its....6mg till bed....depends what stress of day brings....wow!! I was gob smacked I had some left over 18mg...thought id give it a try....nearly blew my head off...which makes me laugh...:laugh:geez when I was a smoker I had the highest mg I could get...in tailor mades....and rollies...they would knock me out now....never stops to amaze me...how great vaping is....and we all can go at our own pace....damn FDA!!! shame on you....

It's like you said... a lot of the addiction is the hand/mouth action that is a major factor. I've noticed now that I don't vape as much as when I'm home. When I'm out and about, no cravings to look for a spot to vape like when I smoked. The other day when I was going out, I vaped when I started the car and driving to my destination. Didn't vape for about 4 hours... got back in the car to come home and didn't even think to pull my X2 out. Only after I got back home. No cravings or urges like when I smoked.

I like it a lot. I have my main vape in the Provari and my extra vapes on my X2s and cartos on my 78s . I am all set for the time being!

I haven't seen any bad reviews about them. Most have said if you have one you've got to have another. Do you have the mini or the big brother?

Waiting for vape dudes to try coconut cream. My first coconut flavor.. also ordered more buttery nipple, love it! And a small sample of amaretto haze, kind of an almond cookie. Can't wait to try that one too.

Waiting for SI's butterscotch, 30ml and Sinnamon, 30ml. Both of them are great. These are coming with the spinner.

Well it's beddy bye for me now and it is COLD and windy out tonight. This is the coldest temperatures that we have had in this area in 2 years. Right now the temps are down in the lower teens and dropping. There is a forecast for snow in these parts tomorrow night and heavier amounts on Friday. Glad you are back to Voltville Deb... Good night/day!

Sitting down, facing forward.
Things are slow tonight. Hoping to liven it up, here's a photo of our local police station. I think it's so quaint and homey, not like what you'd expect in a police station.

IMG_0031_2_zps28e8e506.jpeg

I have to ask, is the sheriff named Andy Taylor?

I don't think 100mg is all that dangerous if you are careful with it. I do wear nitrile gloves when handling it in bulk and make sure I have good ventilation, as in a fan of some sort blowing the fumes away from me, but once it's in a 30 or 60 milliliter bottle with a dropper, just normal cautions for handling liquids that you don't want to touch should work. Plus 100mg does go a lot further.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it. Your results and mileage may vary. No warranty or guarantee is expressed or implied. Proceed at your own risk.QUOTE]

Quote Exactly from the DYI Forum: READ AND HANDLE 100MG NICOTINE AT YOUR OWN RISK:

•Nicotine is an extremely toxic substance - more so than arsenic, milligram for milligram. Its extraction, storage and use in e-liquid pose a significant risk to the user and anyone who might come into contact with it.

•Never allow nicotine to touch your skin or allow it to build up in the atmosphere. Always wear suitable protective clothing and keep workspaces well ventilated.

•Extreme caution must always be applied in the handling of nicotine, especially where children are concerned - a drop of e-liquid that might make a long-term smoker feel sick will likely kill a child.

•All items contaminated by nicotine extraction or e-liquid mixing must be cleaned or disposed of accordingly. Treat it as toxic waste - do not allow it to pollute the environment or remain unattended or unsecured at any time. Contact your local authority to find what provisions there are for hazardous waste disposal before you attempt any e-liquid production.

•E-liquid and all substances used in its production must be stored securely away from children and pets and in child-proof bottles.
•Appropriate care must be taken to safeguard against fire-hazards. Many ingredients in e-liquid are highly flammable, as are many substances used in the extraction of nicotine.

This is why I buy my base liquid at 24 mg nicotine in 100% PG base (which is already diluted) and then dilute it further with PG to whatever preferred level I want. It is no more expensive than purchasing the nicotine separately from the PG and VG. Wizard Labs has almost every percentage you would want already mixed which limits your exposure to pure nicotine and accidental nicotine sickness or even death.

Keep in mind a few things -

ECF does have a number of legal risks being taken, as does any organization providing DIY information, simply by having the DIY forum so they are going to be as cautious as their attorneys tell them to be. There are lots of dangerous chemicals in every house, that if mishandled, can easily kill. Heck, look at how many people manage to kill themselves using a generator or kerosene/propane heater. Some people have more experience handling "dangerous" chemicals and take precautions simply as part of their normal practices with any chemicals. Plus 100mg nicotine takes up a lot less space in the freezer.

I am certainly not advocating that anyone should use 100mg nicotine or even get involved in DIY, for that matter. I am saying that if common sense and a basic set of precautions are followed it is a relatively safe thing to do, at least for me. We each know our own capabilities and limitations, or should as adults, and can make our own judgments.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it. Your results and mileage may vary. No warranty or guaranty is expressed or implied. Proceed at your own risk.

Ha ha! Actually, it's a chief of police, and he's my landlord. There are sheriffs in the area, and I'm not sure what makes some police and some in the sheriff's dept. One thing I found interesting is that we are used to seeing police and sheriff's cars, but how about a sheriff's boat? I guess they don't have the Coast Guard for the lakes, so the sheriff's dept. has to do it. I found a sheriff's boat so novel, I took a picture of it.

Good Morning Volties. I have a blend of Guatamalan and Indonesian coffees going this morning. Latin American coffees are not my favorite so I am trying to use it up by making a blend. It is pretty tasty.

Cloudy but the burn line says I can burn today so I think I will get out the hedge trimmer and the rakes and the matches and get some more yard clean up done.

Hubby wants to go to the movies but we don't seem to have very many good movies out right now. He won free tickets at the company meeting:)

Butch, here's the kind of old farm machinery I find abandoned hereabouts. Not nearly as interesting as the things you find.

IMG_0055_zpsa4ce37b3.jpeg

We went to the County Fair this summer and there were a lot of tractors like that one, and even older, still in working condition. I like the older machinery like that and how well it was build, and built to last of maintained properly. I'll be they never got a flat tire on those steel wheels, but I'll bet a kidney belt was mandatory!

I wasn't picking on you at all, Sandy, or even poking "fun". I'm kind of jealous that you live in a place where the police department doesn't look like a fortress surrounded by video surveillance. Down here, when I go to the State Police Barracks, no local police department, I talk to the desk sergeant through one inch thick bullet proof glass and there are video cameras everywhere. Kind of makes "knowing your local police/cop" kind of hard, which is really a big loss.

I'm kind of envious of you Sandy for living in such an ideal place... having a police station like that. It must be heaven! Those pictures are wonderful by the way. Here!... at times!!... sirens blazing past!! flashing lights!! police heliocopters overhead shining the spotlights down searching!!... Those things lightup the surrounding areas almost like daytime. Thank God it doesn't happen often, but it is a reminder that not everyone around you wants to live peacefully. All it takes is one to ruin it for the majority.

Thanks for the coffee Lizzie! You have some interesting blends. Hope you find a movie that you and hubby can enjoy. I don't enjoy going to the movies anymore... the cost of a soda & popcorn! Plus they have ruined movie popcorn for me now. No more real butter and I like it extra salty too. I know it's bad but... it's soooo good!

Joanne. we do not go to the movies often. Hubby has won tickets at the company meetings a few times and we will go then. I was going to be too cheap to buy sodas or popcorn:)

If we go to town, we will probably do some grocery shopping while we are there. Has to be about 50 miles to go see a movie so I am going to make that trip count!!

Looks like we might hold out for better pickings on movies since nothing is really floating our boats. Maybe something new will be out in a week or two.

No offense taken. I think it's quaint, too, and refreshingly unusual, which is why it attracted me enough to take a photo. Most police departments these days are as you describe, so I like this taste of times long past.

After all that machinery, let's have some horsepower!

IMG_5952_zpsfaf14ecb.jpeg

This was at the Stuart Horse Trials, about an hour's drive from here but a very big show. This kind of show is what's known as a 3-day event. The horses compete in 3 different phases: dressage, stadium jumping (going over jumps in a ring), and cross country (going over jumps and galloping out in the open over a course). This was taken in the cross country phase.
