I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble finding a job. You aren't alone. My freelancing dried up about a year ago. I'll probably never know exactly why, though it must have something to do with the struggling economy. Finally, I decided to look for a job that was a lot lower-paying and in a totally different line of work. I found one in catering, and it was interesting to learn a whole new trade. Instead of sitting at my desk reading, I was lifting and standing and moving around a lot, which was good for my body. And doing something so different was stimulating, even if the salary hardly paid for the gas to get there. It kept me from feeling useless. Maybe you could try that tactic. If you got a job doing something different and didn't like it, you still could look for the kind of job you're trained for or take evening classes to train better for the job you really want. Another option is volunteering, which might add to your resume and lead to a job. You never know where the next opportunity may come from. I hope you find what you're looking for.
