However, they do have jeans that are built like riding tights, so they are stretchy and skintight. See TuffRider Ladies Stonewashed Riding Jeans I'd rather just have plain old riding tights. The idea behind them being skintight is so no wrinkles form between your leg and the saddle. That can get uncomfortable if you ride for very long with bunched-up jeans making a wrinkle where your leg rests against the saddle.

I hope you don't mind me chiming in on your conversation but I couldn't resist. Lee makes a jean called Lee stretch that is very similar and not as expensive if you go to a Lee jean outlet. I bought mine by accident and they are my favorite jean,I paid $8 for them. Since they come in different colors I bought some to wear to work to.
Ariat paddock boots are a great boot for anything and very durable. My first pair lasted me 5yrs.Spray W-D40 on them and they are water repellent, plus keeps the leather soft. My paddock boots take a lot of abuse so for a boot to last 5yrs in muck is pretty good.

Nah the safety boots i wear are fine, they saved me since the horse stepped on my feet 2 times.

I've had my feet stepped on many times over the years. In fact, I think once I broke a toe, though I never went to the doctor. I just limped around on it till it felt better.

When I get toes stepped on, it's a wake-up call to myself to be more conscious around horses. I should know what the horse's mood is and where its feet and mine are at all times while I'm working on the ground around a horse. But it's easy to start daydreaming when grooming for a long time. My feet always get stepped on when I get too lax around horses and forget to be aware of what's going on around me.

Morning Volties! Coffee and blueberry muffins on the table.

Notice I did not add Good to my greeting... I woke up to a winter wonderland today. More than we've had in the past 2 years. It's still coming down heavy and expected to continue through the entire day. Now expected totals are 3-5"

This is spring??
Hopefully this is the last winter snap before Easter. I keep saying that but here we do have a brief spring day every few weeks now usually followed by a storm. Then it turns cold again like it is today.

Glad to see you back on line Debra, but sorry that you seem to be having problems with vape toys. Also I think Tail11 need to get to a Doctor soon, don't you know pain is a warning?

Like I said before, I have been "looking" only looking guys, at ALL of the available mods in "future" anticipation of my next toy. Every one including the ProVari seems to have some drawbacks, either malfunctions or style. I love the looks of the Vamo, but I am afraid the build quality will not last. The new Z Max seems fantastic, however now people are having them die within weeks. A fully mechanical mod seems to be the answer, but VV makes the vape so much better when you can control the voltage of different e-juices.

It has been snowing/raining called snain here for hours with no accumulation, just damp and cold. Where the  is Spring?

Hang in there friends, we will probably be complaining about the heat in 90 days, and Debra will find cooler weather as our summer approaches.

Here are some blossoms to cheer up you folks that are having bad weather today. So far here, still no snow, but it's sort of gray, so there may be some on the way. These flowers may not look like much -- black locust -- but they smell wonderful and the bees seem to like them, too.

Sitting down, facing forward.
Just got back from the post office trip. Slogged through driving snow, below zero temperatures, howling winds, barefoot, uphill both ways.

Seriously, I owe Debra. I was getting ready to go out and the TV announcer said something about it being March 25th, MY SISTERS BIRTHDAY and I forgot about it. So I had to go to the card store on the way to the post office. If things hadn't worked out just the way they did, I'd be in deep doodoo.

The temperature is back up to 37 and our "blizzard" is just about over. It is supposed to rain more today and probably tomorrow as well, but the snow is already disappearing. With any luck, it might look a little more like spring by the end of the week.

Hey Folks, how about this for a pure mechanical MOD only $41.99 at Delaware Vapors. This just may be my next purchase, looks beautiful. It is a GG Clone. However it is out of stock right now.

We got about 8 inches before midnight and another 3 later on. Lost the internet 30 minutes into the storm but I hear it was due to a Mini Van vs Telephone Pole accident. Back up and running now.

Hey Roland, My driveway is up hill both ways :D

I was going to backtrack and catch up but I'm just not that into soap? :D

I dunno. I have a problem spending forty or fifty bucks, or more, for a couple of pieces of threaded tubing with a push button. I did see where someone had a problem with the head coming off of a Vamo. That's a press fit and if it happens to me I'll just put a small set screw or two in. For the price, it's very hard to beat the Vamo.

You know Roland, I have to agree. With a few minor changes the Vamo could almost be perfect, however I worry most about the circuit board, that is why I think my next mod will be pure mechanical so that it comes apart, and can be repaired if necessary. I am leaning toward the KTS Telescope and have put my name on the list to be notified when they are back in stock. Besides it looks cool. Isn't that worth $40.00:laugh:

I really like my Evic. I looked at the puff counter via the computer software and see that my favorite voltage setting by far is 3.8V so it is plenty for me. They have come out with a shorter tube to make it a mini. Between the Evic, smok woo, and my X2's I'm doing fine without buying another mod for now.

I have been spending a small fortune on DIY juice though!!! :)

I am going to the doctor this week. I just got back from my chiropractor. He gave me a wonderful adjustment and said that should the nerves around where my pain was. I'm from West Virginia originally - the land of people that hate going to the doctor! I am taking it seriously and will go see the doc this week.

In terms of the circuit board, if it ever does become a problem (and I know there have been reports about it moving around) a drop of silicon seal will fix that without a doubt and still be able to remove the board. So far mine is performing flawlessly and I even take it out in the car and once in a while when walking Bo. If you like how it looks and it'll do what you want then it's worth it.

Ever notice how one thing leads to another...and another...and another? I was going to move the water heater. Then it dawned on me, when I looked at the spot it's moving to, that I need to finish the insulation and sheetrock in the wall where it will be placed. Now I'm doing a sheetrock job, thankfully I already did the electrical outlets, before I can move it. Just to make it a little more frustrating, I ran out of insulation and have to pick up a bundle to finish that. This is pushing the water heater move back another week. Jeesh! Now I'm thinking about building a closet to hold the water heater and solar water tank, but that will need a three foot door to make sure I can get everything in and out easily.

I know what you mean Awsum. Whenever I start a project seems like it starts out simple enough but somehow it keeps getting more complicated and bigger than what I first envisioned.

What are your reasons for enclosing them in a closet?

However, they do have jeans that are built like riding tights, so they are stretchy and skintight. See TuffRider Ladies Stonewashed Riding Jeans I'd rather just have plain old riding tights. The idea behind them being skintight is so no wrinkles form between your leg and the saddle. That can get uncomfortable if you ride for very long with bunched-up jeans making a wrinkle where your leg rests against the saddle.

Yeah, I found out years ago that riding in Levi's was a prescription for PAIN. Those wonderful doubled seams on the inside of the leg (that make them last so long:D), will chew a hole on the inside of your thigh. I never did find a pair of Wranglers that looked good on me, but I wore them just the same--they were constructed to be worn in a saddle, and you can get them long enough to stay down on the tops of your boots. The scrub oak, etc, in Oklahoma is so awful (found out why cowboys wore chaps), that your typical English-type riding breeches would have been seriously damaged in a short time.

The area of the basement I'm going to be using is currently my "gym", elliptical, weight bench, weight rack, crunch bench and so on with a rubber mat floor. While the basement isn't finished it would look better "out of sight, out of mind". I might even rearrange the whole thing and move the shelving to where the gym is and vice versa. The gym is a lot bigger than the shelving area though and the door is between the rooms is kind of in the wrong place, and no I'm not moving that door for this project.

Another side project is going to be building a custom door to go at the bottom of the Bilco door. Those things leak air like a screen door and I do want to keep that cold air out. The trick there will be making the doors the right height and width to maintain maximum clearance. I'll probably use framed two inch foam with 1/4" plywood over it.

OK, so it's for appearance, not insulation to keep the heat in. What about some sort of removable screen or retractable door? Would that be simpler? I can't quite picture it, so it's hard for me to tell what I might do. However, I might avoid building a doorway and just put up with the sight of the hot water system or just try to block or screen it with something very portable. Maybe even a huge curtain like they have for picture windows.
