I'm glad it worked for you, Debra! I kind of thought it would, but I'm glad that slow boat finally got there. Now, you can rebuild with confidence.
most of the old heads come in around 2.6 to 2.8.... but!!! a couple I rebuilt.......came in at 5 to 6.something......ooops... a few I made are in the ball park....you do realize now....theres a few folks out there...that will want one of these adapters...?maybe you should make more......yes great to have confidence....thanks heaps..

Good morning Volties! It's a beautiful sunny HOT HOT day here. We just went from cold to hot... no spring. Yesterday it was 98 degrees!
I still love it though.

Doctor's visit went well with no major surgery in the works, thank God! Medications alone seem to be working at the moment. Another doctor visit next week and hopefully it will be totally resolved.

I had to report for jury duty yesterday but my number was not called for a case, just had to sit there all day. One thing I realized, just sitting in one place all day is HARD work. I hate doing absolutely nothing for that long. My kindle got a workout and I had no problem taking my ecigs through courthouse security. They didn't even bat an eye. I didn't vape in the sitting area but I had no problem vaping in the restroom.

Another bit of good news... I ordered an Evic and it's on it's way! Yay!! :)

Sitting down, facing forward.
We only got up to 95 yesterday, a little too warm especially for this early in the season. It did cool down really fast late in the afternoon but still stayed at 60 overnight and we're back over 70 again now.

Glad your visit to the shop went well, JoAnn. I got stuck on jury duty last spring, my first time. I sat for a morning, then we were dismissed. The second day I got called but when I commented that some liability applies to both parties in most cases, and this was a rear ender case, the defense rejected me, awwwwww.

Congrats on the Evic.

Debra, the adapter is handy for those of us that are Volt/SI devotees, but I don't think the demand is really there for an SI-T3-Ego to 510 adapter. Besides, it can be pretty easily duplicated if you're handy with hand tools. I may make another for myself but that's about it. I am glad it worked out. I just wish the boat had been a lot faster!

Really cool. Does that mean you don't have to go back for more jury duty? Yeah, I hate sitting too much. Glad medication is working for you.

Awsum, that's hot!!!!

It has been raining here since 1am. Wonderful. I am sure my weeds are going to go insane with mustard and cheatgrass and Russian thistles coming out the wazoo. So nice to get rain. The horse is in his little hut looking my way for some dry hay.

No more jury calls for a year!

On another note... because I had 24mg RY4 with me, I only had to take a couple of puffs that lasted until lunch break. Boy what a buzz!!
SI's RY4 is some good stuff no matter what nic strength it is! :p I had this in an Evod that holds 1.6ml of juice that was more than half full when I got home after 4pm.

During lunchbreak I switched up to 12mg menthol to wake me up. I had the RY4 on a 400mah mini Vision spinner and the menthol on a 400mah mini ego fat battery. Love those things for on-the-go because they last all day with plenty of charge left by the time I get home!

Added note: I sound like a traitor but I still love my Volt spinners too but I can only use T3s on them at home. Not good for me on-the-go... :(

I'm glad to hear the doctor had relatively good news. I'm also glad you are enjoying the heat. I wouldn't like it that hot, so I'm glad it's a lot cooler here. Today is rainy again and won't probably get warmer than the high 40s. I was thinking, if it was a nice day, of trying to ride Penny today, but it doesn't look like a day to be outdoors, so I think I'll go do my stint at the library. It's been a while since I went there, since I had a lot of other things to do. What's nice about straightening the shelves is that there are no set times I have to go do it. But not having a schedule means I have to keep it in mind and go do it.

Will the goats eat those weeds? I hear goats can clean up weeds pretty well, but maybe they don't like them all. I have no experience with goats.

That flexibility sounds ideal to me! You can go when you feel up to it. Keeping busy without stress, at a time that is convenient for you. ;)

Yes they will but what they love are rose bushes and anything that you planted and want to keep:)

Isn't that like life in general? No way to fence off the desirable plants? I guess not. I hear goats are wonderful at negotiating fences and getting out of wherever you try to contain them.

Actually, if Hubby would just finish my 150' of crossfencing and install three gates, we'd have 2 or so acres for the horse and the goats to play on. Do I sound irritated? This project of fencing the yard has been going on since we moved here almost 8 years ago. We finally got most of the cross fencing done last year and only need to finish off a stretch from the street to the back driveway and get some gates in and I would have a proper area to let the animals out into. This year it WILL be finished since I am determined to get this done even though I have to use Hubby's muscles.

Unfortunately, I will still have to fence off some trees since the goats tend to rub the trees to ribbons and eat them as well but I can do that part myself:)

I'm sending Hubby fencing vibes. Maybe now that the weather's getting nicer, he'll be more motivated. Can you make a deal with him? You know, "You fence the yard, and I'll ---." Something he wants you to do.

So fence in the trees to "shame" him into it. I assume that you probably have some rocks in your soil which can make digging post holes a little challenging.

I was under the impression the soil is sandy, no rocks. Otherwise, why import them from elsewhere as Lizzie has been doing?

Zero rocks in our soil, Awsum. In all fairness, we have a lot to do around here. We ended up making a horse pen and we built a horse shed last spring. Of course I do all the painting and most of the finish work like trim and lattice.

Last fall we put up a fairly large wood shed for firewood. I barely got the base coat of paint on before it got too cold to paint. I have to put the lattice and trim on it this year and do a finish coat of paint.

I just have some projects that I would like to have completely finished, done, kaputz, over with:) We have to build and install three long shed sliding doors. I bought the rails quite some time ago and that really does have to get done this year so that I can get my horse cart out of the garage.

We will get there but we need to be dedicated since I am tired of projects. Next year I want to be working on the back yard and then I can retire into maintenance mode:)

Nobody believes me when I say that.

I was just thinking that! You'll find other projects... I just know it and there's NOTHING wrong with that. :thumb:

I was thinking along the lines of JoAnn. Will you really stop working and sit back with your feet up and just enjoy all the work you've done? Maybe for a little while, till the next project occurs to you. :)
