Morning! I only had a slice of pumpkin streusel from Cracker Barrel. Not bad for me!

No Black Friday shopping, but going to different flooring stores to look for a new basement floor for my woman cave. I can't wait until it's done! Gonna have a cool game playing/movie watching place, mini fridge, and work station for myself since my husband has an office of his own. It's gonna be my vape central so I can have all my DIY stuff, juices, etc. since it's now on my kitchen table. Looking to do a dark type theme, just don't know exactly what yet. I want a combination of gothic/Ikea modern/Hobbit hole woodsy-cozy. Is that even possible?

Any decorating ideas welcome.

I'm telling you as far as flooring goes...check into cork flooring tiles.. they make some out of reclaimed wine bottle corks sliced into disks...you lay the tiles and seal them then gout over them and seal em again... have a nice mellow woodsy feel, is a green product, very DIY able, soft, warm, sound dampening, water resistant....and properly maintained will last upward of 30 years..

Hey all, Bianca said it would be okay for me to mention this in the chat thread.

Without going into a huge drawn out story let's just say I'm really broke right now. Anyone wants to hear the ugly details shoot me a PM and I'll tell you all about my luck and the way it has been lately :S

So I rifled around the house and found a few things to sell on ebay. I went bonkers at Bath and Body works on the Labor Day sale so theres lots of smell goods and a few other odds and ends. If you have a moment stop by and check it out:

ferrets fantasy bedding items - Get great deals on Health Beauty, Cameras Photo items on eBay.com!

The one thing I didn't see fit to list is the PediPaws. When I searched it they aren't selling well, I'm thinking because unless you tranq your animal they're going to be.....uncooperative, to say the least.

If anyone could use the PediPaws (good luck~!), let me know. I hate to see it just sit here.

Thanks and have a great night~!

Yes I think most of us here in Pif are having very difficult financial hardships right now.For one thing there is something called the doughnut hole means when you hit it usually now at years end Medicare no longer covers your meds and you have to pay for them upto $4,000.00 before they start paying again. So Lynnlee you are by no means alone with financial hardship right now.So chin up, somehow we will survive it all!!!

I went to Lumber Liquidators today and actually am pretty set on cork. I already kind of have a mish mash of different wood colors going on in my house and don't want yet another one! The cork I saw was awesome. I really want the dark, large patterned kind. My hubs thinks it will be too dark and I say there is no such thing! We are thinking we are going to do the install ourselves. I've done resilient vinyl, but I've never done anything where I've had to use a table saw and cut planks and moldings before. Shouldn't be too difficult, though. Just gotta do some more research and see what kind of underlayment to do and what kind of sealant to use on the finished product.

I'm just gonna take a wild stab and guess you're chelle_babysweets??

None of it is stuff I don't like, just way too much of everything, as usual with my collector mentality. I'll stick with my 2 main scents, Sweet Pea (which I have tons of), and Lovespell from Victorias Secret~!

Good guess! hahahaha! The very first thing I ever wanted to bid on on ebay was the Baby Sweets doll from the Sunshine Family. Showing my age...but, when I was a little girl, I loved the baby from that little family of dolls and I carried it around in my pocket all the time. I don't remember what ever happened to my original one, but I still have the one I won on ebay like 12 years ago. :) Yes, I'm aware that I'm weird.

And OMG, I LOVE Lovespell!!

I'm a dark floor person myself.I hope you show some pics of the finished project!

I am a Sweet Pea lover, too. The pet name my hubs gave me when we met was Sweet Pea. The first valentines day that we were together I told him that I just wanted a REALLY big card. He gave me one with 'To my Sweet Pea' on the front. I couldn't figure out how he found a card that said 'Sweet Pea'. It took me a long time to realize that he had changed 'Sweetie Pie' to 'Sweet Pea'. lol.

He doesn't call me that anymore lol but I love the scent.

Lox, I am here now so your quiet morning may be down the tubes. I am, however still trying to shop, so I will check back in a bit. I am having a tough time finding my SS stuff. I am going to pm to see if you know, K?
