Good morning!!! We have a lil bit of a warm breeze out, but still cold.. i woke up in the middle of the night shivering instead of sweating.... i dunno which one is worse :/

It must be "screw over a lesbian day" and no one told me about it! OMG, I've been getting quotes to finish off the fence in our backyard, the back and one side is done because those neighbors have had fences installed, so it's just one side and then two gates. Lowest quote we've gotten so far was $822. The guy that came out today said $1,130!! HAHAHAHAHA! I literally laughed out loud when he handed me the paper with the quote! AND my vet will NOT prescribe my other dog meds for the fungus she's contracted from our new puppy without seeing her/charging me out the wazoo first. It's the same freakin' thing the puppy has!! WTF! I ordered some topical stuff online to treat them both. Screw more vet bills! OMG!

Don't know how much fence you're talking about here. 5 years ago I had a long section of fenced (black vinyl coated chain link) with 2 gates done (with matching top piece like the back section which had the posts and gate but needed the new chain link put on). I think I paid 900. So, your 822 bid might not be too bad depending on how much fence we're talking here.
It's about 50 feet worth of wood picket fence and two gates. Still waiting to hear from one of the places on their quote.

I would consider DIY. At very least you buy the supplies and find a friend or someone you know to put it up. Not that hard to operate a post hole digger and a screwgun. Would be way cheaper even if you pay the person doing it this way.
Just had "the talk" with ds#3 for his family life class. We're pretty good at this by now lol. Of course he already knew most (been open discussion for years with the older 2) - but didn't pass the quiz on name of all the parts. lol. Poor thing is a little embarrassed. As DH put it "Hey it's like going to the bathroom. Everyone does it, they just don't talk about it"
