Good morning happy people (Had a boss that used to say that every day, real loud and cheerfull like - made me want to salt his coffee)

This mod looks great to me - and maybe, if I pinch every penny very tight, affordable at some point! Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, I'd say the price is a very nice one for a regulated 5v mod. The acrylic tube is very durable, and we all know that's pretty important when it's in *my* possession. I do need to find a way to get down to the bottom of the tube and shorten/cut the super duper thick spring in there...the tension to get the top screwed on is a PITA, luckily I only have to do that once a day. I'd also strongly suggest putting some Nolox or something on the threads, it feels a bit "gritty" when screwing on the top. Also worth noting is that the top is considerably thinner than the bottom part of the tube...I suppose to leave enough room for the LED/wiring/regulator/switch guts. If anything is going to ever going to crack when dropped on a hard surface, it's going to be the top. I don't see how just dropping it would EVER hurt the lower part of the body. Good price, fantastic batteries, fairly tough material, performs flawlessly (so far), decent switch...nice mod indeed.

The real lowest cost way to try 5V is a straight pass-through (no inline battery), especially if you are at a desk or in a car often. Under $25 total, for a pass-through plus a 2A power supply, either plug-in wall wart or car cig lighter adapter. Madvapes has 510 PTs, and lots of places, like vaporsetc (cc vapezone), vapor4life (smilin), NHaler (saveinnj) have 808 PTs.

Thanks for the link Keyzy :)

Bianca, that's sounding pretty good - I put myself on the 'notify' list - I really think I need to try 5v vaping, and that looks like the most economical way. What do batteries/charger for that usually run?

They have the batts and charger on that site at a pretty good price.I think its easier and less shipping costs to get it all in one place. Those mods are so pretty and I love 5v.

I know this is an ecig forum but for diabetics, I just got an awesome deal. 72 cans of Atkins ready to drink shakes for 26 bucks from buy.com with free shipping. My sweetie/meanie loves these and if I bought them from the grocery store it would be 144 bucks.

OMG, I'd say that's one hell of a deal Enid! Good for you and the s/m. :)

+1 on this. Madvapes sells the wall adapter and the car lighter adapter as well, so it can be purchased all at one place, shipping there is like $3.

Yeah, you can add the batts and charger onto the mod order from the dropdown menu. 5v vaping does pretty much rule. :)

For some reason, I feel like we've had a visit from Mrs. Grundy.
+1 internertz, if you understand what I've said.

*Mrs. Grundy, fictional English character who typifies the censorship enacted in everyday life by conventional opinion. She first appears (but never onstage) in Thomas Morton’s play Speed the Plough (produced 1798), in which one character, Dame Ashfield, continually worries about what her neighbour Mrs. Grundy will say of each development. Since then the term Mrs. Grundy has passed into everyday speech as a criterion of rigid respectability, especially in contexts in which free expression is impeded by excessive purity.
