Yeah, I'd say the price is a very nice one for a regulated 5v mod. The acrylic tube is very durable, and we all know that's pretty important when it's in *my* possession. I do need to find a way to get down to the bottom of the tube and shorten/cut the super duper thick spring in there...the tension to get the top screwed on is a PITA, luckily I only have to do that once a day. I'd also strongly suggest putting some Nolox or something on the threads, it feels a bit "gritty" when screwing on the top. Also worth noting is that the top is considerably thinner than the bottom part of the tube...I suppose to leave enough room for the LED/wiring/regulator/switch guts. If anything is going to ever going to crack when dropped on a hard surface, it's going to be the top. I don't see how just dropping it would EVER hurt the lower part of the body. Good price, fantastic batteries, fairly tough material, performs flawlessly (so far), decent switch...nice mod indeed.
