FYI: I had a parakeet that someone gave me, it had plucked out all if it's feathers...it was obviously miserable. She called it Cleo, I called it Chicken. She was a happy little thing here. Most of her feathers came back. I had her about a two years. I miss Chicken.

sorry about chicken! I had a parakeet that my dad hand raised, and my oldest son at the time was a 3yr old terror, and smacked it w/ a stick!!!! and he went bye bye! I loved that bird! It could say a few things ,and always did the wolf call when i walked passed it!

Oh God! Poor birdie. Chicken liked to whistle, but she was dang mean, the one time I had to pick her up, she almost bit through my finger. I was praying the whole time "God, please don't let me squeeze the life out of this chicken!" cause that's what I wanted to do! LOL! Hurt! I had to move her from the small cage she came with, to a bigger cage (I thought it would help her feathers come back, and it did. ) and she just clamped down and kept on putting on the pressure. When I got her in the bigger cage, she let go. Made me bleed! Evil Chicken.

had to share.. my mother is coming here (Virginia) in two weeks to visit from CT.. she is a smoker (I tried and tried to get her to vape, I guess I will try again when she's here) and she asked me how much a carton of cigarettes are.. it was SO nice to not have a CLUE what a carton goes for, much less a pack! I know up there they are about $8-9 a pack.. yikes! I will settle for upkeep on hardware and some juices for a fraction a month of what she pays in half a week and I get my health, too! (not to mention I don't stink..) wait til she realizes she has to smoke outside in 100+ degree heat here.. maybe I will get her to vape yet!
