Librarising,

The Go-Carts (as we affectionately call them) are expensive, but they can be cleaned and reused and last forever. Some Go-Go users are still using the same original cartos they got with their units months before.

That's wonderful to know but I still have to pretend I didn't see it! laughing! I have even gone so far to do a search on the mfg in China. One mfg has them at about $22 per and the minimum is 5 and they take Paypal. That would probably make them about $33 or so each.... now I will get on with my work and will make myself forget! Will make myself forget, will forget, will......... ;)

Those were the ones I was looking at. My old D50 was solid, but I needed more speed for continuous shooting, so I moved to a D300S. If I ever transition from hobby to professional, I'll get a full frame, but no need for it at this point. My photos only show up on websites, PR material, etc. My wife has a much better eye, but she lacks the technical understanding. I have the technical understanding, hopefully I can coach her some. I spend some time at nikoncafe and nikonians.

No DPReview? Re. Nikoncafe, are the oldies like Jarrell and Sandi Jackson still around? I've completely dropped out of the camera forums since taking up vaping. :)

well, I just managed to get the burnt taste in my 3rd carto of the day- I filled them ALL up last night, let them sit overnight and now not only did I waste all the juice, I lost 3 carto's. today is NOT the day for me to not get a good vape. I NEED my 'relaxation' and my nicotine-

I just need to rant.
Lucy, the dog that walked into the library and now lives with us, needs lots of excercise or she annoys the hell out of my old poodle, trying to get her to play. Here's the real rant- Dog Parks. I know that you let dogs work out their "differences", unless someone's seriously getting attacked, but I'm getting tired of deciding where that line is. Lucy is not aggressive. She flops on her back and is submissive. She wants to chase after dogs and have them chase her. She wants to sniff butts and dig a freaking hole. Two times this week, I've had to bust out my very bad noise to stop Lucy from needing to go to the vet for punture wounds. I'm a nice person. I believe in manners but I'm about to turn into another persona at the dog park, one who doesn't care if you get called out on your dog's bad behavior.

I've just never had a big dog and work HARD to make sure that she isn't a bad dog but I'm not seeing other people correcting their dogs at the dog park.

Dog parks can be rugged. No one ever tries that with my dog (he's half Newfie) but I have seen others act out. Luckily, most of the people at ours are responsible, even the humping gets broken up. Lead by example, if you break it up early, and then ask whose dog that is, you might be suprised what the shame will do to people's resposibility.

how did you let them sit over night? did you lay them down or set them on their end?

Internet forums have been a major part of my life for the last 8 - 10 years I think. Along with my current obsession of vaping, I'm also a member of various Photography, Golf, Cars, Hi-Def and Computer forums. What can I say? I love information in it's raw'est form and nowhere better to get it than in chatting up people. :)

Thanks, I just needed to hear that it's okay to be vocal about breaking it up and the shaming of people. I don't want to be an over-protective parent but I'm not going to pay vet bills cause your dog is out of control.

Here's Lucy with Willow, the older poodle. They just open their mouths and then rub heads, lol. This is a miracle, in itself, cause Willow is a rescue who is so fearful of other dogs. This is the first dog that Willow has ever played with and she's 12 years old!

Some really scary stuff going on there. If there is anything that I am really afraid of, it's these natural disasters like earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes etc. There's really not much you can do to protect yourself once you are caught in the zone. I mean I get it that we are on a "living planet" but it needs to understand that we are trying to live too.

Peace mother earth!

I feel for you sensay...I have family in Mississippi and Alabama. My family is ok. My niece is in Alabama in a small town between Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. I haven't heard from her yet. My parents are in Meridean Mississippi and had 4 tornados come through yesterday. This is so sad

My sis is in that area, from what she says no power and the cell phones are hit and miss. I have been texting with her on and off. I hope your fam is ok Trish!

I know it sucks, but it may be time to avoid that particular Dog park , but also socialize lucy more as well...a good way to do that would be to take a few classes , if available in your area..like obediance & advanced obediance..this will get lucy around other dogs in a calmer and more controlled environment...Good luck!!

Even in that video the puppy is being submissive! that is too cute!

Enid - when my kids were little we'd go to the park - I have no problem calling people out. I think it's the former life guard in me. If you end it with a "sweetie" or a big smile and understanding nob most people get it. If they don't - who cares - they are not your friends or family. ;-)

I'm mesmerized by the damage - it's hard to realize that nature did this and not something man made.

Got an email from our high school today - they are working with a ministry here (Matthew 25) to collect toiletries tomorrow to take down to the areas hit. And my neighbor who works for P&G says Tide is mobilizing more of of their portable wash trailers. They already have most of them in North Carolina from the tornadoes there a couple of weeks ago.

I was born in Hunstville.
I'm going through my coupons to see who has tooth paste etc on sale this week and raid my stash.
