Isn't Egg Decorating like the central plotline of an Ocean's heist too? Some quad-million dollar Faberge egg or something. There is money in eggs. Not so much in eating them though. -Magnus
I knew a Delta operator that knitted and crocheted to relieve stress on long airplane rides to points undisclosed. Nobody ever made fun of him. In fact if he sees this he might hunt me down and kill me...
ugggg- today has been one of those days where you just wanna scream. I have GOT to work on these cakes, HUGE orders lots of detail. Spent ALL day doing foundation work, got bids on most of it. The kids broke the door- and it wouldnt OPEN. the FRONT door. the ONLY door. had to use the window till I got the door handle broken out. Ran out of cake stuff, my dog is having problems getting up and around, I was in the middle of a HUGE proposal email/phone call/bid thing, and my cousin came over to drop off a few dozen chickens he doesnt want- so of course that was added to the day - AND I didnt get my order from madvapes even though it says by the DC it was delivered today.... I also had someone call that wanted me to do a wedding cake- for FRIDAY- seriously?? uhhhhhh NO. Even if I was SO inclined to be your second choice, I have a presentation to a board for a donation Thursday morning, a huge cake due for a fundraiser before I go there, and then a foundation meeting that night-
tomorrow I have to make Ruby Red slippers out of gumpaste, and lots of other stuff for the cake, go to town and get supplies, and buy a new door knob.
I just thought it was hillarious that of ALL the ways for your door Knob to stop working, it had to be CLOSED and wouldnt OPEN. I SWEAR my life is just ONE long country song.... LOL

ROFLMAO! yeah- I thought about you when I was taking apart the little peice that goes in the door frame, it is made of ... whatever that cheap fake metal is- (stupid knob cost me 75.00) and some little peice in there broke smooth off... My kids are hell on everything. I swear, my grandparents had the same knobs for 120 years, noone ever broke them!!

Lol, I used to get so much crap when people would come over and I'd be on the back porch drinkinf my beer with a cig hanging out of my mouth while I was crocheting away. No one ever complained when they got the awesome beanies for christmas.
One of the curses of being raised by just your mother and grandmother I guess. Knitting, sewing, crocheting, cross stitch... Oh yes I lost my man card oh so long ago

I honestly dont let much get to me- my kids were half outside and the other half inside and both sets were screaming to get in or out, and I was just laughing my fool head off... cause honestly, WHO gets locked in their OWN house....?? LOL
