my mom is still making payments to the surgeon who did her first bypass 12 years ago! Since then she's accumulated about another $300,000 for the other bypass and the 2 month long stays in the hospital for mystery ailments.
she stressed and worried and about made herself sick over the bills until I pointed out that if she has no money, there's nothing she can do about it. She's been to court 3 times for different bills, each time speaking with the attorney for whichever bill was trying to be collected to explain her situation (disabled, no income, no insurance), and each time the debt has been forgiven and she doesn't get collection letters anymore.
Now she has to go to court for what it cost to demolish the house. This one is going to be hard for her. She would never have left the house if she didn't HAVE to, and she certainly would have paid for the demolition if she could. Just looking at the pictures of the house that were in the court documents makes her cry

There is a group in the womens forum for people who craft with fabrics. I have things I crocheted in my photo album. Its easy and fun. I taught myself some new methods by using Youtube.
