I get the feeling that I'm going to be treading into water that's way over my head, but have you looked at the 510 VGo's, Bianca? They're being advertised as 3.7-4.0v and come in both 510 and 808 threads.

I'm fairly certain that the CigEasy Elegant and VaporNine Defender are both 808 VGo's minus the LED light on the tip. The Elegant was tested on a multimeter somewhere here on these forums and did clock in at the advertised levels.

I'm actually using an Elegant too. If you want, I can see if my husband can yank out his multimeter and test mine when he gets home from work. It's an 808 though so not sure if that will be true to the 510 form.

The VGo, the eGo, the Tornado, the MaxX, the T-Rex etc, are all advertised as 3.7 to 4.something devices. And they do come off the charger at that voltage, without an atty or carto pulling from them...once you have your atty or carto going on it, they drop to 3.2ish v. All of them. Sadness. The 808 batts DO draw true 3.7v, so maybe your Elegant does too.

Good day PIF. My Nephew Just got his first "real" PV in the mail yesterday. A 510 but for somereason the flavors just aren't coming off his atomizer like they do my carto. What would cause there to be no flavor off an atomizer?

it all depends...it could simply be the fact that the joye 510 runs hotter than cartos...so while it's good at tobaccos, coffees, and menthols...lighter flavors and fruits get a bit washed out or burnt..

Can anyone point me in the direction of the best High voltage mod out right now? Just want to take a look.

like UR says...it's subjective on what you qualify as best... me...I'd say the Precise 18650 from www.supertmanufacturing.com
lifetime warranty, all mechanical, all stainless steel and will support 3.7V, 6V, and 7.4V battery combinations

Well, I think it's pretty but I don't mind black with gold colors. I do wish they had other colors and my understanding is that they will be getting some 'soon'.

Most folks seem to think it's a Riva with an 808 adapter. However, it's running at a higher voltage - from some user tests - than the Riva tends to hit. I think it's one of the 808 VGos but don't have a VGo to test that theory.

This thing definitely works best with the premium cartos though. I can use my regular stock KR808 cartos with it but boy do they get hot fast. The cigeasy gold cartos don't get nearly as hot nearly as quickly. Just bought some coolcarts to check them out too.

looks just like my eGo, but the silver is gold.. also, I don't use 808's.. I've 510s so I'd need adapters and stuff.. see! this forum is bad for a budget!!

I do the same thing! Sometimes I catch up, some times I don't even go back the few pages only because it would be rehashing and I chalk it up to a good conversation I missed.. can't be around for them all!
