Other than our lab Jasmine waking me up at 5:30 on a nature call, it's another good day. (Jas will do that sometimes just because she's awake, decides I should be too. Her ulterior motive is that once I'm up she jumps on the bed and goes to sleep curled up next to DW.)

Gotta love waking up to eMails like this:

Dear Lynda,

We believe the OneAccount is a great value for students, and we want to make sure that we are doing everything we can to keep it that way. In October 2010, the policy for insufficient funds fees on OneAccounts, offered through our bank partner, The Bancorp Bank, was changed. At this time, we are retroactively applying this policy to all eligible accountholders dating back to July 16, 2008. As a result, you are eligible to receive a credit to your account for certain insufficient funds fees charged to your OneAccount. To learn more about this credit, please log in to your account.

Your credit totaling $76 will be applied to your account. You can log in to check your statement at any time.

Thanks for being a OneAccount customer

Sincerely,
Higher One Customer Care

I'm not a student anymore but I got the account in 2008 when I started attending college. I've since just kept it for convenience.

B,when you let her go free, will you still feed her and let her in until she decides shes ready? Is it a gradual thing? She is so cute and Im sure your attached to her so it will be very hard to let go. Yes,Im worried about it,lol.

I'll build her a release cage and she'll live outside in that for several weeks...the first two with it closed, then only closed at night...then open until she decides to leave it. Tucker didn't have a release cage, he just came in at night and back to his inside cage. He didn't want to leave until he was 7 months old! and had been coming and going for so long that I was pretty sure he'd built his own nest. I'll provide her a nesting box outside of her release cage for when she makes the permanent move to freedom. Yes, I'll provide her with food and water and nesting materials for as long as she hangs around here. It will be a glorious sight to see her free in the trees where she's meant to be, but yeah, I'll cry a lot over too. Tis the way of a Mother. :) "Better one day in the tress, than a liftetime in a cage" (We should all live by this)

yes we do! December 23rd! feels like it has been so much longer than a year!

Hey! That's my birthday! :D

congrats to mfraz and bianca both. a year smoke free is a big deal. This is only the second time since I started smoking I can say It, and with vaping it has been much less painful than the last time I could say I was smoke free for a year :)

It's a HUGE deal! OMG, I really did try a ton of stuff to quit smoking, I had honestly given up until I found vaping. I'm so thankful!

way to go you too I can't wait to be able to say that! Morning PIF

Keep up the good fight, lady! You're on your way!

morning yall, hope monday treats you well :)

Treating me OK...baby is puny. :( I only have my own today though. I've been keeping her distracted as much as I can, and she's currently passed out on the couch. She's running a low fever today. Poor kid.

Y'all want comfort food in this weather like we do?? I made this last night (try it!):

Easy Chicken Pot Pie:

You will need:
3 large chicken breasts.
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of potato soup
1 can of mixed veggies (I used 1.5 cans to make this one)
1 box containing two Pilsbury pie crusts. (these are rolled up in the box and found in the refridgerated section of the grocery)
1 large mixing bowl
1 9" pie pan

Pre-heat oven to 350
Boil 3 chicken breasts 25 minutes
Mix together one can each: Cream of chicken, cream of potato, mixed veggies
Dice up chicken and add to above mixture
Unroll one pie crust and lay it in a 9" pie pan (I use a glass one).
Put the mixture on the crust in the pan.
Put the other pie crust on top of the mixure in the pan and crimp the pie custs edges together.
Use a fork to put some vent holes in the top crust.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, depending on how done you like your pie crust.

Easy and delicious. :)

I love pot pie - but I don't do a bottom crust on mine. And sometimes I use crescent rolls on top (but not until the last 15 min or less of baking time!

And how do you do 1.5 cans of veggies? what happened to the other .5?

Hahahhaa, it was a regular size can and then a small can.
