I have pepper spray, and I know how to use it! Melanie, if YOU have pepper spray, I beg you now, have your husband hide it until all your company is gone!

Also, I just watched a commerical for "EZ Smoker" on my freakin' TV! It's, of course, a scam "free trial offer" BS, but dude, e-cigs on my TV!
I've seen it too. Made me wanna throw stuff at the TV. Night Sweetie <3

LoL I don't have any pepper spray, and he hates her more than I do!

I saw a commercial for one of those on TV the other day, looked like one of the cigarette looking ones. I also see them being advertised for on Craigslist all the time.. I couldn't resist one day, had to email the guy and ask him what kind of juices he sold, PG or VG? and some other questions, so I could make a fool of him when he didn't know.. but! he knew what he was talking about, but was also charging $20 for 10ml of juice (dekang!) trying to tell me 10ml was equal to 2 months of smoking hahaha.. sure it is!!:glare:

I've seen videos of people on youtube (wanna be reporters, I think it was) who voluntarily get tased.. and it looks like some torture that should be in the next Hostel movie.. no thanks

Yeah, I ditto that. I'm weird and have had a few tattoos and piercings just for the heck of it, but electricity scares me a bit lol. I'm weird.... but not crazy.

Edit: Piercings for the heck of it, not tattoos lol.. just to be clear.

me, too! six tattoos, the occasion misplaced piercing, and I gave birth to two kids.. I'd rather do labor and delivery with no epidural than be tased.. *shudders*

I only have two tats, but have had plenty of piercings..... and I think honestly I'd rather be tased than go through labor and delivery again.... my son was 20 hours and my daughter was 16 hours, and I'd pick a few seconds of being tased over that ANYDAY lol. One of the many reasons I got fixed

mine weren't that bad, and definitely not that long, a few hours maybe.. I only said epidural free.. there was something they gave me, Stadol (sp? pronounced Stay- dahl) and if they sold it on the streets we'd have an epidemic on our hands! It didn't take the pain away, but it damn sure made the contractions funny!!

HA I beat ya .... 6 months labor with my son... making sure all the paper work got to all the right places... getting physicals... waiting for the court date to be set... (oh wait...that's not the kind of labor u mean is it LOL)

LoL definitely an admirable labor! six months is a long time when you're waiting!

Yep... But at least he was living with us that entire time! We got lucky with him 10 yrs old when we got him and he's a wonderful kid (even tho he's 15 now and does all those teenage things) Believe me from what we've experienced with foster care... it could be a whole lot worse!!!

my husband and I are thinking of fostering, but not until the kids are older. We don't want them to feel like their needs or wants weren't met because of another child (children) in the house.. so when they're all in upper high school and beyond we will most likely end up doing that. down here they say something like 90% of foster parents end up adopting one of their foster kids.

Its hard not to want to adopt them all!! My son came to us on a respite visit... we were only to have him for a week. At the end of the week he looked up at me and said "Do you know I'm available for adoption?" I said yes cuz I did....
then his next question was " Do you guys want to adopt me" How could we say no! We've had 8 other kids in this house since then and there's only ONE I wouldn't have considered adopting if the opportunity came ( The one was a 16 yr old girl who was constant trouble she was a runaway and ended up in jail shortly after she left our house) It's not easy but it is very rewarding!

the rewarding part is the part that I love.. there's nothing I like better than to know I made a difference in someones day.

just got a text.. they're gonna be here in 20 minutes or so.. who drops in for a visit at 2:30 in the morning, when they have kids in the house asleep and they're traveling with a two year old? I hope and pray they are ready for sleep. Did I mention they like to sleep til one in the afternoon and let their kid run around and do whatever he wants? It's gonna be a long few days!
