after spending the entire morning with my kids cleaning the yard and pastures, I have figured out they remind me alot of a flock of chickens.
1. They make ALOT of noise, over NOTHING
2. They run around alot acting like they are busy scratching around, but rarely pick up what they see
3. They leave a mess EVERYWHERE they go and CONSTANTLY have to stop to potty
4. Their attention span is NON EXISTANT, anything shiney catches their attention- till a shadow goes by, then they scatter.
5. They dont take direction well- to get them to get in ONE place and do ONE thing, TOGETHER you have to feed them or wait until they are asleep and then pick them up and PUT them where you want them.
6. They look kinda funny when they run
7. They LOVE finding and destroying mice AND snakes, and once they find the first one, you may as well give up- thats all that is on their pea sized brain
8. They dont have any respect for someone elses property, they will scatter THEIR crap all over the place, not caring that its not polite or hygenic.....
9. Bugs interest them more than anything, but outsmart them 90% of the time. And the 10% when they outsmart the bug, they have to crow about it for 20 minutes.

Yep, Raising kids IS like being pecked to death by Chickens...

Q4K,My kids drive me crazy but more from lack of motion. They dont chase things, not even the dog when he runs out of the yard. They are usually sitting or laying in the shade with a book and completely ignoring the world. They think about everything, including what I should be doing and what appropriate actions I should take to get it done. I bet if you mixed mine with yours we might get one functioning human out of it.

Enid - DS#3 is signed up!

I hadn't been to the library in ages because I download for my nook online from them.

Our library e-book borrowing has a new twist - now you can buy e-book for Nook or Kindle from my library - and they have more titles available for purchase than they do to borrow.

This is our 4th city in 22 years - I had library card for 6 cities libraries in that time - 2 were when we 1st moved and were still house hunting and in temp housing - ended up buying houses in nearby counties/State the one move!

It was the 1st thing I'd do after calling to get the paper. I now only get the Sunday paper for the coupons.

Roflmao dark, i did NOT! Lol.
i started trying to train the kids to come when i whistle, so far it works with the horses, and donkeys, and only the horn, a gunshot or the oventimer going off brings in the dogs and kids! Lol.

Keyzy,
you might be on to something mine go 24/7 lol -

I have actually seen someone put coffee in an IV bag. Dh's uncle has a feeding tube. I saw him put cold coffee in the bag for it and hook it up.

I've never done the coffee IV but I do have a water proof travel mug for drinking coffee in the shower

And that's why I love you. :D (you aint right)

I think Beth is healthy again. She got better for a day, then was sick again with something else. Poor Beff. :(

I'm pretty much ready for Livi to start school again :glare:. The child never stops talking, never takes a nap and never stops moving. (save me )

The Kanger clearos. Eh, while they have their good points, they're a pain in the .... to fill and I kinda like the speedy filling of the eGo Vision a lot so I'm not sure I'll order these again. I WILL be ordering some other things that I've seen recently and will give a report. :)

Hope you're all doing well!
