Good evening everyone! Hope you are all doing well. I'm recently out of work, so spending TONS of time all over this forum while I take a short break and then get back out there.

Hope this is a happy break from work and not a forced one :-(
I've had a part time job for the past 4 or 5 years but it ended in April. With all of our moves I became a SAHM 16 years ago and the part time job popped up at the perfect time. Very flexible with the boys schedule etc.
I put off looking for a job so I could be here for #1's last summer home (he's in a5 yr, year round program with college) and figured I'd start looking for real when school started.
Then 3 weeks ago a friend asked if I might be interested in cleaning for a guy friend of hers. Divorced, 2 bedroom 1 bath, no pets house. 2 times a month. The 1st clean was some WORK - lol - but the second was easy peasy.
My job hunt has taken a back seat as we wait to find out if DH will be traveling overseas again. DS#2 & 3 aren't old enough to drive so I'm their transportation to everything.
We're ok - but I worry about next helping #1 with school and aging cars and appliances lol.

Well, no really welcome, cuz I like to work, but not forced. I worked in a factory with alot of welding/plasma torches/rusty metal... And since those machines are surrounded by partitions, the rest of the workers don't need breathing apparatus's. I realized one day that the stuff I was inhaling while at work was defeating the purpose of vaping...
All my bills are paid up for a good while, and both my cars are older but dependable, so I'm taking a break.

Morgan - there are no words. none. My prayers for peace for the family and for answers. Not knowing makes it even harder. Hope you can feel the love coming to you and your family during this horrible, horrible time.

Good morning PIF Home again for the second day with this miserable cold Although I think I feel a little bit better today so I might actually do something around here today if I can find a little energy.
