I have two mini long hairs... what kind is yours?

She's a mini red short hair. I've always heard the long hairs are more mellow than the short hairs and the wiry haired dachsies are little terrors.

I've also heard the reds are a bit more temperamental than the other colors. I think that's people bias coming through but I will say that Gretchen has a very short wick. Plus, once she's mad, it takes her a bit to get happy again. Ella, the one in my avatar, has a habit of making Gretchen mad and Gretch goes at her for 2-3 hours until she finally gets over it.

OK here is the kind of day I'm having. I got 2 crunchy and 2 soft tacos.

taco bell forgot the meat and cheese.

yes I have lettuce tacos

I quit

I'm going to crawl up in the corner of the closet and never come out again.
R U effin kidding me... WTH.. they have 3yr o working there... geesh..... thats just not right!!
You know, nothing really I can add to all of this. Glad my mind wasn't the only one stuck in the gutter.

Well, I am going in for my first atty procedure. Drodz posted some links about removing the filler to make dripping easier and cleaning faster. So, I am going in. Hopefully I don't melt things, mainly me, like certain other people I could mention. ;)
that is for cartos..lol
love that song.... My box was empty... no goodies for me today :(

Oops, my bad, wrong credit. Drodz did the carto video. It was The Big Chief who posted the link for removing the wick and found a separate video from the same guy who showed how to remove the bridge.

And...it was all successful. I have an atty that is bridgeness and wickless and dripping is very nicely. This is cool.

Those two are gorgeous dogs. Put a pic of Gretchen up for my avatar. We took this while we were in the mountains. It's not the best pic of her but it'll do. Her tongue always sticks out and typically is around an inch out of her mouth. Not sure why it wasn't out as far there.

She's actually 1/4 chihuahua and 3/4 dachshund. My mom got a wild hair and decided to breed two of her dogs.

You'd laugh your .... off if you saw me do it. I have a hat that has LED lights on the brim. It helped so I could see down inside the atty easier. Then I had my reading glasses on so I could see better and it did help magnify things just enough so I could see what I was doing. Surprisingly it was quite simple. Moving the mesh on the bridge to the side was easy. However, pulling off the bridge was tougher. The whole atty was coming out and it it comes out too far - game over. I had to use a very thin screwdriver to hold the atty down while I used tweezers to gently rock the bridge out. Once I did it this was it was a snap.

vaping some snickerdoodle with it now and creating nice clouds.

And on the dog front, we just got my son a dog; dacshund beagle mix. He is cute. He thinks he runs the house. The cats have a completely different opinion.

Heh, dachshunds are something else. Gretchen has charged boxers before thinking that, since they look so small from far away, she could handle it. Boy did she put on the brakes when she got closer and realized this dog was huge. Thankfully he was a nice dog and just gave her a little nudge with his nose. Sent her rolling and squalling but was so funny.

Her sister and littermate (that we tragically lost to hemolytic anemia almost 4 years ago) once charged a rottweiler because he got too close to me. Before I could grab her, that little gal was jumping and biting at his jaw and then latched onto certain hangy downy parts. She was a mean little thing and was a pure guard dog. We called her Sergeant Gabi. Nothing scared her or was too big for her to take on and I swear that dog was ripped with muscle. Funniest thing about her is she was commanded by Queen Gretchen who'd tell her where to go but never, ever would get her own paws dirty.
