Adorable Prism!

I let Mickey out to play in the backyard, trying to get him used to being outside some. I just went and checked on him and from somewhere he dug up a big old beef rib bone. He is prancing around so proud of himself and I am dying laughing watching him.

And Lox, you are so dang picky thinking that you deserve meat to go with your lettuce taco.

Yea and they are so smart. I kept rolling mine a ball hoping he would roll it back. Did it for 3 months and he just looked at me like I was an idiot, so my husband tossed it to him and he caught it with his mouth and tossed it back. He likes big boy ball not baby ball I guess.

Beautiful Baldwinsville (CNY)
I had to put double latches on all our backyard gates -- singles were too easy for her to flip, which she did right away. I suspect Heidi understood that with two of them we really didn't want her to leave the area.

Our lab can jump the 5' fence no problem, we had to watch her constantly when she was in the yard, but fortunately she's attached to her big brother, and Sidney's not a jumper. (Heidi used to do a bunny hop, her body would go above the lower half of the screen door -- a very strong girl)

I got nothin' again today. :( And when I went to the post office to mail off 6 packages, my daughter unbuttoned my shirt and flashed everyone my ta ta's. Nice. ....

OMG i missed it....shoot!!!!!!!!!!! what is ...???...damn missed tatas....i am very upset now!! :(

That was the issue with my beagle. He could jump. Basically could get up to my ex-husband's shoulders and my ex was 6'8. A privacy fence was no obstacle for that little dog.

Heidi was a 13-1/2 yo 80 lb prebred Aussie -- a wonderful, intelligent Aussie. She came down with a degenerative nerve disease called myelopathy -- you lose control over your rear legs -- back in 2008. She stayed a happy camper for 2 years, with us helping her more and more, switching to a sling over time, nightly baths, and near the end I carried her around. She finally showed less interest in things, though loved spaghetti and meatballs and other treats DW made for her :) , so we had her put to sleep at home.
The very next day, Homer, our 11 yo lab/boxer, suddenly grew weak. Turns out a tumor had come up very rapidly around his heart, cut off blood flow. A rapid passing, but he survived long enough for DW to tell him she loved him one last time.
A week later we picked up Jasmine from a local SPCA, then in early July we were approved to adopt an Aussie rescue, so Sidney joined us. They're 1 and 2 yo respectively, both very good, Jasmine really a puppy at heart (OK, a 55 lb puppy who stretches to like 7' extended), and Sidney's an atypical Aussie -- very mellow, Jasmine helping get him a bit wilder.
Oh my... i am so aorry for ur losses.... that had to be a hard time..... the ybecome like our children!
I love my Aussie

Dang, I am never at the Post Office at the right time. Can you tell us next time you are going?
