So I just gave a good friend of mine a brand new ego kit, about 20 different juices, a drip tip and some LR atty's. I am hoping and praying that she will take to this as she's been trying to quit and has felt defeated so many times. When I gave it to her I told her that it was a gift but I didn't want her to feel pressured to use it at all. I told her if she wasn't ready to face quitting to just put it in a closet until she was ready to try again. I'm hoping you can all send good thoughts her way so that this will work for her! It's worked for so many others so I'm just praying that it will do so for her as well.

Definitely sending good thoughts her way...and yours too! :) You're an amazing friend/person. I have faith that this can work for her!!

Oh, I'm home. :)

Thanks everyone for the good thoughts. I'm really hoping this will work. She's been really stuck on using Chantix, thinking that will be the easy fix. I know that works well for some people but I've also read some horror stories about that. I don't know the success rates on Chantix, but I couldn't imagine there's anything easier than quitting by using a PV. At least that's the way it was for me, but everyone's different.

I was so nervous about giving her the kit because I didn't want to seem pushy in any way. I also know that her and her husband have decided that this Fall they are going to try and quit smoking yet again. Hopefully when that happens if she gets really bad cravings she'll remember she has the PV stored away and she'll give it a go then. My fingers are crossed.

Anyone want a 3 year old little girl and a 2 year old boy? CAN GO IN THE MAIL TODAY IF YOU ACT NOW. They're well behaved and don't fight or break stuff, I SWEAR.

I would say yes to this in a heartbeat, but I think my husband would kill me. He's so into the having his "own" thing. Sorry I can't help you here. :p

What kind of dog are you talking about here? I've had babies on the brain lately so we might just be able to make a deal.
