Thanks, it's not my chicken, it's my brother's. I love them though. He calls them "his girls" and they are spoiled. His wife is about to turn them into dinner though because they tore apart her garden. They sure like to dig!

Awww... I'm so jealous. We actually aren't allowed to have them where I live, some sort of city ordinance. Even if we were, I wouldn't have the room. I hope you are having lots of fun with yours.

My son used to raise chickens while he was in foster care. (we adopted my son when he was 10...he's 15 now) He has lotsa stories about that.

sweet snails! I love snails! I have a whole little colony of teensy tiny baby snails that have taken up residence on one of my terrariums with my Azureus (avatar) Dart frogs ... they are very cute and are keeping my female company since her mate passed away recently
