That makes sense. I've never really understood how drip tips work or what their purpose is. They look neat though.

One of these days I'll find the end all, be all explanation on drip tips and it'll just click. Although, considering my spending on all of this so far, it may be better that I remain ignorant.

lol...if you don't drip it doesn't really matter.... just think of a little tube mouthpiece on the atty that you drip through....it's function is to promote efficient laziness (so you don't have to keep taking the mouthpice off and putting it back on) when dripping...

-- unless PO is smacking them with drill hammers there's no risk of leakage.)

lol....have you seen the inner workings of a PO hub?..... this is highly likely....

words and phrases like: Fragile, "do not bend", "this end up", and phots or x-rays.....are foreign words with no meaning..

So I see! I just like to 'know' things I guess. Once I latch onto something, I like to know all the technical details of how it works, how to make it work better, how to fix it, etc. It's my inner geek at work. :2cool:

I use a KR808 so evidently I'd need to buy an atty that'd work with that and such. I'm happy in my ignorant drip-free world right now but I'll keep it in mind for the future. Thanks all for the information!

i think they have meaning in those places - just every day there is "opposite day"

i think postal workers should have to sign every piece of mail they touch w/ their photo, singature and address. a few ppl track down the postal worker that messed up their mail and we might start getting better service from them.

just a fanciful thought...

When we were looking for a new pup on Petfinder, I showed my husband a few pics of rat terriers since we needed a small dog to go with my dachshund. His remark,"No way would I want a dog with those gigantic ears. Sheesh, there's nothing there but ears on that dog!" added to a few other comments about the mental capacities of said dog.

Hey! What the hell?! :glare: I have two Rat Terriers (well, one now, RIP Jessie), and they're adorable and SMART!

lol except there are those that also use them on the KR8 (I do at HV) ....again laziness...if you're keeping your cartos wet it's either take the carto off and do the prefered fill method...or even take the cap off and drips a few drops down the side...this you keep vaping away and just drip the drops down through the tip..
do you need one....absolutely not...do alot of people become lazy and tire of taking the cart or carto endcap off....you betcha

lol....I worked at USPS as a seasonal employee for a little while...and I actually asked about those words and phrases during training...and the trainer laughed at it and said straight out that the only thing on the package that matters is the zip code..

then proceeded to show me to sort the packages by standing with about 10 bins around us and shoot baskets with the packages as we pulled them from the incoming bin.....

at least with the small PIF type packages those go in bags and are sorted by machines and converyor belts... (but the bags are thrown down a hole on the loading dock (and when they get jammed up....yup the bags get stomped on))

Very cute pups! I know they're darned smart which was why I recommended we look into them. Husband just saw giant ears. The joke's on him now though!

I think we did end up with a terrier mix of some sort though. She just has too many terrier (or terror, as I sometimes call her) traits. From her facial features and little goatee, I'd wager we have a bit of Cairn or Westhighland terrier going on.

I keep trying to find a pic with both my dogs in it. My dachshund is darned cute too and always has her tongue sticking out. I typically use a pic of her as my avatar on other boards but decided to vary things up for a change.

Thanks for the welcome! Cheers! :toast:
