Don does use some seedmans....he's got 7 different flavor suppliers he uses, he says he only likes a couple from each one. I know FA is his least favorite. I know he uses Loaranns too. I could prolly sit here and remember 5 of the 7 but I'm off to bed. Nite all! boB

Night night, bee oh Bee.

Oddly enough I've been paying attention to all this DIY chatter. Just don't have any experience with it.

So far I've liked 4 out of 4 of them that I've tried -- vanilla, english tobacco, cherry, Commercial (all from their Top Note area). I haven't opened their apple and Capt Black yet.

If you would like to try some of their Commercial, PM your addy -- I got a big bottle (7-1/2 oz) of concentrate Monday. It's a nice base tobacco flavor.

I wanna know what the cap jack is like let me know when you try it our i was considering ordering some stuff from them today ive heard alot about the commercial blend. so dose it make a good tobacco base??

Hehe ok. I saw that, but it's mostly small stuff, I'm more interested in 5/10/30 ml stuff with droppers. Thanks tho, glad to see people looking out for me!

check the health food type stores or if you have any old time pharmacies in the area...I found cobalt glass bottles with locking tops and glass droppers (like the halo bottles) at one..

Staceyd - PM me your address and I'll send some for you to try.
Candy -- Yes, Commercial seems to be a nice base. Someone described it as a Marlboro-like flavor, I think of it as pretty close. I just made some more last night, so I could get a little 36 mg for a friend to try -- 80/20 36 mg w/2 drops of TA per 10 ml; nice stuff, though I then down-mixed it to 24 mg for my own use.

My ..... DIY self seems to be able to make something that doesn't gag me with it. It's a darn good base IMO a great one to use as is, or one I think you could start with and really tinker around with. For the price I'm figuring if I dump few batches down the drain I'm gonna come out way ahead. boB

boB I hate to tell you this but a baby bird has to be fed about every half hour or so. Chopped up worms or even dog food will work for feeding it but there is only a 10% chance it will live. Poor kid. I tried saving a few baby birds at his age and none of them lived. Dont feed it bread.

boB, here's some info: “Abandoned” Birds | Scholastic.com Go down the page a little, it gives you feeding info. I hand raised one 2 years ago...it was time consuming, but it lived. :)

Yeah...I figured it was often....told him when he came home with it most likely wouldn't make it. Too late on the bread...I tried:( boB
