***fingers crossed*** ((((HUG)))) hey B! haven't seen ya much. boB

Between the babies and my wife and the yard work, I've been so busy it's insane! I only have my own baby today. Beth went into work late today, so we were out as a family for most of the morning and up until about 45 minutes ago. I just put Livi to bed...keep the fingers crossed...yes, I know it's hard to type like that! ;) How you doin' today???

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Ravens. We had a heck of a time selling our house last year. Had it on the market for over 8 months and were starting to feel the crunch when it finally sold. It certainly took the pressure off my husband who was having difficulty finding a job in our new location. The town we lived in wasn't really suffering the real estate woes of other markets either.

We have had the house on the market for awhile now... but NJ has been hit pretty hard as other states have too. People here are worse than ever... in the meaning of wanting everything for nothing! I am all for a good deal but please don't insult me by offering something unbelievably low... that will get you no where! I have lowered the price of my home substantially! (and the people know that cause they admit they have been "watching" my house)

My hubby has been living in Florida since Feb. he transferred down with his job so that at least one of us would be working since I worked for a pool construction company for the past 8 years & they did not take most of us back when the season started again. I have been out of work since Nov. of last year & my unemployment ran out... I am now on the extended benefits.

So please do... keep your fingers crossed that we can all be together again!

Thanks for all the well-wishes everyone! My Husband wished me a Happy Anniversary this morning when I saw him. Oh well, he was close.

Missy, you told me about your wedding and I always thought it was very sweet. The paper doesn't mean much, you're right. It's really just about showing everyone how much you love each other, I think.

Ravens Rose.. I hope things work out for your family by the time Holidays start. I'll keep you in my thoughts :)

lol... well he was close... at least he remembered! lol a day early... but he remembered!

yes, you are right... the paper isn't the important part... it's the love between two people is what matters!

Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts!!! We are gonna need it!!

A friend of mine has an expression - "you make me so mad I could punch a baby"

Kidding people I'm cooling down now. I'm not going to punch a baby. Lol

This is the second recent case of someone asking for something they already have or have on order. Just complete BS...and sad.

I have 8 cats and I'm totally willing to give you your pick of any of them...well, except Carly...Carly stays! :)

my beloved Jasmine passed away not too long ago.. we still have the brother and sister here, and I can't get a dog.. Petsmart is having an adoption drive thing this weekend. I am debating.. was really, really, really holding out for a puppy, and even though I know it's not possible, I still hold that spark of hope, like an idiot! So.. now we're debating a kitten.. just not sure what I want to do.. ahhhhh!

yeah its ridiculous!! been happening for a little bit though...

I believe most of the givers are seeing a trend and that well will dry up really soon. People have been so generous to me and I guard against taking advantage of generosity. I know I will be fine long run because I am a very giving person so as my supplies grow I will be able to give back - or as this group is correctly called - paying it forward.

Separation - Back in the mid 90's I had to leave my wife and daughter in Colorado while I had to come to CA to find work. It was the 5 longest months of my life. I felt like such a failure letting my kid down. (My wife understood what was happening but a 3 year old did not.) My prayers are that your house sells soon.

Anniversaries - mine is coming up on 9/28 - 19 years married. Dang, 1 year anniversary sounds so long ago.

Bragging - I just got back from my sons soccer game. He was the goalie and he rocked the field. We played the best team in the league and he shut them down to just 2 goals. He was stopping their rocket kicks - it was so fun to watch him come into his own. We scored 7 goals; our new forward was amazing.

Ok, I think I am caught up now.
