Lot of fun to hunt with a bow too. Me and my buddy have a blast. It's like something out of the Matrix if they see the arrow coming. I swear some of them jump up on the shaft and run down it while it's flying through the air. I like to eat them, but whether any are taken while hunting or not, it's always a good time.

Now the ones that live in the neighborhood are off limits and such. Only chase the truly wild ones.

When someone else buys my hunting gear for me they can decide what I use, until then...............

It's all in good fun.
We still go out to the shooting range quite a bit. It's free and only five minutes away.
I like the ar15 but I'm more loud than dangerous.
Just got a 45 auto. I can't hit crap yet. But it's fun trying. Lol

Verm.....archery runs from sept 15th til Jan 15th here.....get 2 Turkey tags with the 2 deer, I wont even shoot a turkey with a bow.....I've only been shooting a few years though. boB

Turkey, bear and deer run together here for three weeks in October. It's a golden time. I've been shooting since I was four. I've shot compounds but have always been a Trad Hunter. The bows just suit my hunting better. I help a few well known bowyers with R&D and such. Being a test monkey is fun except when one blows up on you. (Have a scar on my left hand attesting to that)

I don't kill fuzzies. I have this bad habit of merely wounding things when they need killing. Dad still makes fun of me for that.
