Bear is ok. Venison is much better. Elk and Moose will ruin you on beef forever. Like eating candy.

My neighbor gave me some elk. Very tender and good flavor. I was surprised.

The tail is ok. The hide is good for a lot of things though and looks so cool when tanned properly. Have a bunch of friends who Gator hunt. Season is on right now.
Ya , they even serve it in the resturants here, doesnt appeal to me but lots of people like it .
Gator sausage is love. Seriously, that stuff is fantastic.
I also like fried gator. In fact, since gators are very likely to try to kill my little dogs, you may kill them at will.
Oh, and bears...we went to the Smokeys a couple weeks back and I was constantly on the lookout for bears who wanted to make my dogs into lunch.

M, nothin wrong with dog sized deer! I try to take a yearling doe every year.....tender, no grinding up a bunch. Problem I'm having right now is all the Does are still toting twins....that's gonna be a tough call, kinda early. Got 4 buck patterned pretty well, but nothing to brag about. That 7 I showed you need to go cause he's got some funky genes.....hoping he's hanging by the end of the weekend.......vaping that estrus gonna be tough, flashbacks of TV!
