Ok, so my husband just made my day. I've been harping on him to clean out the second bedroom and he took a load of stuff to Goodwill. He also cleaned off his desk and the end tables. I thought he was just being helpful since I'm in a cleaning mood. (Yes, like everyone else, I clean when angry. Got both ba
throoms last night.)
Well, he comes to me after he gets all the boxes loaded in the car to take to Goodwill and tells me, with this gravely serious face, that he needs to talk to me. I'm thinking, "Oh crap, this is just what I need right now."
He takes my hands and tells me, "Honey, I'm so sorry. I've looked everywhere, even checked everywhere at work, and I think I lost that black battery you gave me. Don't be mad, ok?"
I about howled in laughter. OMG, so funny. Evidently he knew that black XL that I lent to ASharp was missing. He didn't want to tell me he'd lost it so he'd spent all this time looking for it.
Evidently he did notice it was missing. He doesn't care that it was lent out but next time wants to know so he doesn't feel like poo thinking he lost it.
