I guess that's where I am lucky. I go on my lunch hour and there isnt ever a line. maybe one person other thanmyself will go in there, but mostly I'm too early for normal lunch hours because I have to be at work so early!!

Well, I went right after work had let out. I was actually first in line so I was speeding through as fast I could. Seven packages just take a little time. It's no big deal and it'll get out eventually. I just didn't feel like being my usual sarcastic self to the folks behind me.

I'm thankful for Paypal shipping and a small scale. I'm actually a reasonably patient person, but the PO doesn't work well for me -- it's out of the way, and I often work late. Happy to pay that 19 cent tracking fee to not have to deal with the PO. Not having to go to the PO = priceless :)

Well, we have those little automated kiosks in our post offices so I don't mind them. If we didn't, I'd definitely do what you're doing.

I don't mind the post office. I just really have a general hatred of postal workers. I find them to be cockier than police officers.

the funny thing is the old man is one of the largest stock holders in the local bank. he doesn't have a checking account at his own bank????

Maybe he does but the people he needs to pay don't accept personal checks? Personally, I'd never buy a MO from the post office since they charge so much. I would've gone to the bank for that one but older people are funny folks. My dad didn't realize that banks gave out MOs until I told him to check there instead of heading to the post office.
