Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me, I gotta take the before & after pictures! I decided against cork floors and I'm gonna get a funky black & white laminate from Ikea. I'm just a cheapass. It's only $1.15 per sq. ft. as opposed to $3.80. Let the woman cave commence!

Great day here...sun is out, didn't even wear a coat when we were out earlier. Just lovely. Beth is off today, we all went to IHOP where my baby declared "I LOVE IHOP!"...hahahaha, so cute! Then we went to get her Christmas gift from us...a little shopping cart with pretend groceries. You'd think we'd gotten her the absolute greatest thing on earth! She loves it. And she got some warm clothes, which she cares nothing about.
Hope everyone is having as nice a day as my little family is today. (((group hug)))

Went out with the hubs tonight and 20 of his co-workers and their spouses for a department Thank You Party. I've never met any of his co-workers (he's been there 2.5 years) but they've all known each other for years! The shortest amount other than DH is 10 years! The longest is 20+. I think I understand now why why he gets along with them so well - really nice and quirky bunch. Had an awesome time! Got hugs from both of his boss's wives. Apparently I passed their test. lol
