Not only were you guys given a second chance but you quadrupled that by quitting ciggies, too!! (or at least cutting down) :)

Chelle, Livi is adorable. Now I can't wait to hear what you say about her when she is 16! rofl.

LisaB I HAVE to tell you that my friend is LOVING her French Silk. It is all she vapes now. Luckily enough she is a light user so what you made her is still going strong but pretty soon I am going to have make it for her! :( I am going to pm you to see if I have the right stuff, k? Thanks. :)

atsirk: {{squeeze}} March 15th, 1996 I was hit by a semi, slammed into a guard rail overlooking a ravine, pushed 150 feet and "let go" spinning facing head-on into on coming traffic. Just me and DS#1 who was 19 months old at the time. We were driving to back to our home in 1 state to meet the movers who were moving us to state 2. By grace of God and our sweaty Guardian Angels we were ok. bumped and bruised, but ok.

Oddly enough the car I was facing when I stopped (staring into the passengers face) had a cell phone. You know, the old big as a loaf of bread type. I was able to call my DH, who was 5 hours away leaving work...they stopped him at the gate of the plant as he left. IF I hadn't called exactly when I did, he'd have driven right by me 5.5 hours later. (He had work meetings and was coming to the old house also, but heading back to work on Sunday - I however was staying until Wednesday)

I waited for him for just about 5 hours in a truck stop. He made me drive the 3 hours from there it our house. It was years before I could pass a semi. I also had to make the 8 hour drive to the new house all by myself, well, except for the little guy. lol

You've been given a second chance. Grab it. Don't focus on the drive, focus on the company!

The drive was good, a few moments of anxiety, but once over the bridge it was easy going :) Thanks for the kind words {{{hugs}}}

No, don't even think that. You didn't do anything. I'm just sayin', second chance is right. I'm glad you got one! And I'm glad everyone who gets one has been lucky enough to get it. :)

{{{hugs}}} Chelle, I don't know what to say, just more {{{hugs}}}. Breaks my heart.

atsirk, have you ever tried trigger point therapy? You can do it at home yourself. Amazon.com has a book ($15) on how to do it. Over 360 reviewers praise the outcome very highly (5-star rating). Here's the link if you want to take a look at what others who have tried it have to say about it.

Amazon.com: The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook: Your Self-Treatment Guide for Pain Relief, Second Edition (9781572243750): Clair Davies, Amber Davies, David G. Simons: Books

There's also a link where you can get the info free. (but it's really better to read the book for full explanations). The link is here: Trigger Point Therapy Workbook; Your Self-Treatment Guide for Pain Relief

Reviewers said it works on many different types of pain, including those from injury.

I'm really sorry to hear you've been suffering this long. I hope you can get rid of it someday somehow.

Thanks Seabrook, I'll check that out!

Thank you! The kid is an absolute riot. :) She dances around in that while watching the Elvis '68 Comeback special or Fleetwood Mac concerts on DVD. I'm pretty proud. :)

Picturing *that* made me smile. Thank you! Roommate is officially leaving today and I'm a little teary, but I saved a copy of that picture and stuck it on my desktop. Now all I have to do is look and see her dancing in my mind. A video would sure be fun...hint hint...

And one more post to make sure I hog this page lol - It was my 6 month non-smoking anniversary April 1st - and that's no foolin! Yay me :)

And to top that, out of nowhere for no reason SmokingRT sent me a box mod, and I finally got to try higher-volt vaping. NOW I see what all the fuss is about!! And I thought I was fine at 3.7 - silly me. Not sure how many volts this is, or even what kind of a mod or whatever, but POW it packs a punch. Thanks SmokingRT!
