I went to bed after 1AM and got up at 6 AM. I think that I'm going to break down and pay the 50 bucks for the sleepy-nite-nite meds soon. I sleepily forgot that Heather doesn't have to go to work until noon, so I took my dog to her bedroom, so I could be lazy. Luckily, she's good natured. I swear these animals are like children.

I am constantly saying "NO, don't eat that" and prying dog mouths open and retrieving various inedible things. We mourned the lost of a wii controller two days ago. This new dog is the worst of the bunch and my old dog is picking up bad habits.

I had to buy a 32 gallon locking lid trash can because the new dog figured out that it's easier to knock the whole thing over than bother with the pesky lid. Plus, you just get to skim off the top with the lid, knocking it over results in a larger variety of good trash num-nums.

I think it has something to do with Circadian Rhythms...

(you can smack me later) LOL

Awww Enid I'm having the same issue. My little chiweenie is being great, but this american bulldog/pit/black mouth cur pup is just doing my head in. I swear he's in timeout in his crate more than out. Luckily I always keep my trash can in a kitchen cupboard, the cats know how to get into bloody everything. I hope this pup grows out of his moods soon, he done his business in his crate overnight, I made sure he went out before I went to bed. he's 6 months old and was doing so good the last few weeks. Almost at my wits end!

It's too big for lanyard but it never leaves my hand anyways, I never thought I would love 5 V this much but I do. Hope all is going good with you and your Reo.

LOL, I get the "not leaving your hand" bit. That's me and my REO Mini. :) But I'm hooked on 3.7v with the 1.5 ohm Cisco 306's.

Have you got a link to your Sweet Tarts recipe at 24mg? I absolutely loved it, and never found a premix to compare.

Happy birthday Rose!

the new 'hunting dog' pup is currently in my lap- he is spoiled so rotten that he wont know how to hunt anything except my pillow and chair.

Honestly, he sleeps ON my pillow at night- never get a dog too early- you will spoil them rotten. I have 2 cakes due tomorrow, a bass fsh and a vanilla strawberry buttercream 3 layer cake.

Well, day 1 is relatively complete with my ProVari. I'm still in the process of jotting down my notes and impressions as I go and subsequently collecting those into some form of organized thought. I'm trying pretty much everything on it, just like I did with the Darwin. So far, MAP tank, clearomizer, dual coil carto down. I still have to cycle through my dripping atty's and some regular cartos. It's almost tortous going through something like this since I want to collect all my thoughts in a short amount of time so I can compare them to something else in a relatively short time span. After that, I bounce all those short-term thoughts/comparisons against my long-term thoughts/impressions. I definitely need to lower my nic levels.... I'm vaping way too much....

Overall, my first impression of the ProVari was "wow, that's smaller than I thought". I initially thought the menu navigation was going to be burdensome, but it's not. It does however have it's flaws, partially from a usability and partially from a comparative standpoint as it relates to a Darwin. I'm still collecting my thoughts on that, so I'll hold off until that is done. The fit and finish on the device is better than the Darwin. I noted what I thought could be improved on the Darwin with respects to fit and finish, I have no such complaints/suggestions in this area for the ProVari. Don't get me wrong, I do like my Darwin and so far I do like the ProVari. I have minor pros and cons with each. Most of the cons for one device are corrected/captured as pros for the other.

Now if I could only get ECF to allow more than 10,000 characters in the blog section, I would post my stuff there....

The ProVari IS a nice size. I thought it was going to be huge, I had the same reaction as you, "Wow, this is smaller than I thought it would be." But it's so dang heavy! Like walking around with a brick in your pocket .

I've been toting around a Darwin and a REO, so this isn't much different. I also try to keep my keys/change in one pocket, my PV in another to avoid incidental contact. I've been toying with the 18650 and with the 18490 off and on in the ProVari. No real noticeable change, minor, but not so much that I would say "I need it lighter or not".

I don't know what the finish is on it, but if it's bare metal you *might* be able to smooth it out with some really fine sandpaper. The highest grit you can find. This will probably give it a brushed finish, but it will look like it's *supposed* to be that way.

Actually, I would steer away from sandpaper. Emory cloth or cleaning/sealants have a better result on metal. Look for iPod/iTouch type cleaning kits. Typically a really fine solution that will wet sand/polish (think Brasso), followed by a sealant (think car wax), can really make a scratched metal mod (or electronics device) look great.

I made my iPod Touch and my old iPhone look like new using something like this: http://www.radtech.us/Products/IceCreme.aspx

It depends on the person, if they don't repeat themselves and have the horrible 2 minute bad editing/music intro, I'm usually fine with video reviews. I can usually read a review faster though.

Curious, what's the opinion of everyone on written review vs a video review?
